I have really no reason to be with Allen at the helm and I’m probably overrating Carr because he now plays for my team, but I can’t wait for Sunday kickoff.

I give it until week 2 and you’ll be back to your normal melting self.

Same with me. I feel like this has been the longest offseason in a long time.

First NFL game is literally a month from tomorrow night.

I’m ready.

Same, I feel like I am being irrational. I guess I probably am, but it beats expecting the worst I guess.

Yeah this time of year if you are not optimistic about the season your team is really bad or you are really bad

Never liked the Allen hire. Pretty much knew it would doom us to mediocrity. But n man this division is bad. Probabky the worst it has ever been. Feel tons better with Carr as our qb than Winston.

I look at as a no lose situation. If Allen can’t win this division with double digit wins this year, he should be fired. And we can hire a real HC. So something good will come of this year either way.

Based on what I see often posted here, I think this is where the latter congregate.

I have little to no faith in Allen’s ability to get the team to be disciplined. I’d like to think he learned from last year, but he is what he is and he’s a bad head coach.

I like Carr. I’ve liked him for years. I think he will make this offense so much better than what we’ve seen the last two years. We have some good weapons on offense and should actually have a good running game IMO.

I think our defense will be okay. Our safeties are bad and will be our downfall.

In all, I think we have a better team and QB than most of the NFC. That alone will get us far. But we have no hope against superior coaching like the 49ers or Rams or AFC teams.

I want to say that someone asked him during an interview after one the OTA's how much self-scouting from last season he'd done on himself or something like that.

He followed it up by saying something like "well I think we all looking to improve." Just kind of dodged the question where you'd see other head coaches go far more into detail with their answers.

Maybe he's just playing it close to the vest, but I don't know about all that.

as for Carr, I got to be honest, that move just didn't get me pumped up at all. He isn't a guy that is going to embarrass your organization though with any off the field shady activity or what have you. Part of me is trying to be optimistic about it but I keep coming back to thoughts about him I had when I first heard the rumors come in that the Saints were going to go after him. Basically, I had my doubts. But since he isn't some hate able piece of shite; I do hope it works out.

I think we are due for a season where we don't have guys dropping like flies because of an injury. I mean they are still going to happen regardless, but It'd be nice if we didn't have to put up with as much crap in that department.

on a scale from 1-10 I'm at like a 6 as far as excitement level.

I think it could a tight race between ATL, Panthers, and the Saints for the division. Atlanta will try and play keep of way with their ground game. There was a lot of turnover on the Panthers roster with new players coming in. New coaching staff but I mean they beat us with Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold at QB last year. Now they have a very capable rookie coming in this year.

I think we can win the division but say that without solid confidence.

We have to many vets that hold this ship up. We will win in spit of Allen. And we don’t have bad safeties what r u watching? Badger was playing great by years end and will be better this year.
Our backend will be best position groups on the field. Our d-line should eat with our coverage.

I didn't say that.

You already know that, but you don't care.
