For the remainder of my life, will the Saints ever find another Payton/Brees combo coach and QB...
Odds aren't looking good...

I am also 60... I am glad to witness the Super Bowl win and just wished we had won another so it wouldn't be said that the one Super Bowl was a fluke.. The Saints had a great run for about 6+ years... They also wasted a few years with some horrible drafting... I just don't want to go through what the Cowboys have been dealing with for years...

Pigs flew and hell froze over once.
It's difficult to think it can happen again anytime soon with the front office complacency we have now.

I’ve never heard anyone say the Saints Super Bowl win was a Fluke.
Nobody that knows anything about Football anyway.

My dad is 66 and went to the first Saints game when he was 7. I'm glad my uncle (RIP and had season tickets my entire life) and dad got to witness the Saints win a Super Bowl and y'all too. It probably won't ever happen again in our lifetime.

I'm over 60. Gents, this is what it was like to watch the Saints in the 70's.

Yall realize you’re going to be able to watch for the rest of eternity from Heaven right?

I go back further- went to several games in '67 season, then my Dad got us season tickets starting with the '68 season. Those early seasons were fun despite the losing, but eventually grew old. Inept coaching, ownership, shitty drafts, etc. Sound familiar??

It won't. This team is back to being a cellar dweller.

The odds are no, it’s only happened once in the nearly 60 years of the franchise. To give you some perspective the next best QB/coach combo in Saints history was Mora and Bobby Hebert or Haslett/Brooks if you want to weight the playoff win higher.
It’s just not an attractive place to live nor a franchise with any juice, so attracting top coaching talent is a real challenge.
When you have an owner in over her head who filed bankruptcy multiple times, you can see there is no hope unless she is forced to sell.
