I'll never understand it.

Did Mickey Loomis not watch at least thirty-two games of the past two years of Raider football? I didn't but I am not the General Manager of the New Orleans Saints. I hate to write this because I do not enjoy criticizing people in public. After watching D. Carr for four games at the beginning of the season, I knew he was horrible. I just cannot believe my eyes that Loomis could approve this acquisition of Carr. Carr throws fastballs five yards away from backs, throws balls behind receivers, under throws long passes many times this season, looks for a place to fall down when he sees middle pressure rather than trying to extend the play, many times he will pass up a open receiver for seven yards on first down hoping to find better, consistently throws underneath the sticks on third down knowing damn well the receiver is at a disadvantage and will not be able to break the tackle. Carr has absolutely no ability to lead men in battle. He has terrible body language, he cannot motivate, he is a loser with lots of money. HOW IN THE WORLD DID MICKEY NOT SEE THIS? Please explain this to me.

Carr signing was an all time frick up.

I think he knows they messed up. He sounded so dejected in the interview with Haas this week.

Mickey needs to fire Dennis Allen and Pete Carmichael.

He’s not as bad as this board thinks.
Not to mention we’ve has about 3 dropped tds this year.
Carr doesnt turn the ball over and has faired decently behind our shite oline. He has been a little worse than expected but we’ve also had some bad luck.

Hes worse. Not only does his play suck but hes a horrible leader. And obviously the players on the team don’t like him. Winston may suck too but at least hes not having guys fight him on the field.

Playing first place schedules. We are playing in the worst division by far and a 3rd place schedule. And played a ton of backup QBs. Aka the easiest in the league.
It matters.

I agree however he's Carr and playing his arse off is a very low ceiling.
He could benefit from an OC and QB coach that can maximize his strengths and minimize his weaknesses. He doesn't have that now and likely has never had that in his career.

I think he has a makeshift Oline that is not conducive to his playing style. He is the type of player that needs to feel secure in the pocket. (as evidence, several opposing players have stated "Just get to Carr and hit him and he'll get rattled and off his game.") That statement has been proven correct many time this season.
The Saints have above average WR's to even great WR's. Even without Thomas this WR group is going to be upper tier in the NFL. They need better schemes and understanding of how Carr plays.
As far as the play calling and coaching aspect of the game, It needs to change because it's not working and the players are no longer buying into it.

I cant believe he just tried to compare Carr to Mahomes lol. If Mahomes was on our team we'd have two losses.
