If we had to lose

At least it was to the Bengals. Burrow and Chase and company are such good role models and class acts. I love the Saints, but the Bengals are a close #2. It was a good game and we just came up short to a really good team. Go Saints!

I'm not mad about the loss, but disappointed because IMO the coaches lost this game. The Bengals made the necessary adjustments at the half and the Saints did not.

At least you didn’t say Who Dat! That phrase has lost all of its meaning these days.

Good teams find ways to win. Bad teams find ways to lose.
This game is a perfect example of that. We had the lead the entire game. But because we’re a bad team, we floundered in the end and the good team prevailed. This is the first loss of the season I’m not mad about.
We are just flat out a bad team this year. No more expectations from here on out. I’m just hoping for entertaining games to finish out the season.

If we had to lose, at least it was because an LSU DB was afraid of tackling Chase.
Because Sean Payton and the Saints hate LSU and we'd be sooooooooo much better with LSU players.

So by some miracle we make a magical run and end up in the Superbowl, it's ok if we lose to burrow?
Fan of a team or a player? Do you follow players or teams? I've followed the saints since I began watching football, when Jackson went to the 9ers and the saints lost to them, I didn't say "well at least it was Rickey"
Joe or chase never played for the saints, they played for LSU.

Some of you weirdos would seriously let burrow pump you up the arse I think.

I can’t imagine how Saints fans, at least the ones in Louisiana can’t pull for Burrow and Chase a little bit even when playing the Saints. I wasn’t pulling for the Bengals to win, but it’s kind of a consolation prize.

Because we are SAINTS FANS, and hold onto your hat joe burrow is NOT from Louisiana

The Saints didn’t “have” to lose, but chose to play the game with bad playcalling which led to FG’s. You can’t do that against 95% of the NFL teams (minus the Failcons of course) and expect to get away with it. Burrow did his job and took what the Saints gave him. The Saints beat the Saints, and in my eyes it was similar to the Vikings game. This team is developing a bad “I dunno how to win mindset”, it’s sickening how far they have fallen.

I don’t care if Brees was on the other sideline, I want to win.

It's pretty simple. I'm a Saints fan and want the Saints to win. IDGAF who they're playing. Not going to pull for players on the other team. Not sure why that'd be tough to comprehend.
