There is no way the draft will happen in New Orleans due to 2 reasons.
1. Goodell would never agree to it based on personal issues he has.
2. Too many other things going on at the exact same time. Jazz Fest, Zurich Open,etc, that take away people to work it. Hosting the draft is a huge undertaking. It could easily be workable at Champions Square & Downtown but not during late April with the other things going on.

There was no Jazz Fest last night for the first round. The point is Goodell goes out of his way to not get booed. In New Orleans, the draft would be a Boo Fest.

He whips up the crowd and tells them to boo. They won't hold the draft in New Orleans because they're moving the draft to cities that won't host a Superbowl. Cleveland, Nashville, KC, next year in Detroit. Vegas was the only draft host city recently that will get a SB.

Booing does bother him. He goes out of his way to diminish the boos. He chided the crowd for booing him. He places people on the stage with him to lessen booing. Why are you defending a $50 million man.

He said yesterday in an interview that he was looking forward to the draft and the boos. He doesn’t care.
And if you haven’t noticed, there are sections for all the fans of different teams near the stage. The home fans are far away from the actual stage.

The NFL has changed playoff total teams during a season. The NFL can change draft city locations anytime they want.

Under no circumstances will New Orleans ever host the NFL draft.
New Orleans may not host that Superbowl. The NFL could find a reason to move it.

Agree, the city is a shitehole and couldn’t keep the crowd safe. Mardi Gras shootings are example of what will happen if a big public event held in NOLA.
