Quite honestly I'm not very high on Jefferson in the NFL. Great college receiver but it always looked like he was really trying hard and busting arse to play that well, like he was at his peak. Contrast him to Chase, who makes it look easy. I hope I'm wrong but I'll be surprised if he's a legit 1st round talent.

24 is too high. Late 2nd rounder unless he runs a 4.4.

JJ is a better receiver than Tre’quan Smith already and he’s been in the league for 2 yrs now... go for the gold....

If he runs a sub 4.5 and 200-210lbs, yes.

He is a refined WR in terms of route running and good hands. I just need him to bulk up and show the speed with that frame.

People can regurgitate all they want about Mike Thomas and Justin Jefferson being "similar", but I don't see the problem with two receivers who can get open. I'll take a dink and dunk all day.

If he played at Ohio State would you be so hard up for him?

It's my unprofessional, stupid, subjective analysis. He doesn't look like the same level athlete as a guy like Chase.

Can he play in the NFL? Absolutely. Is he a top-tier athlete? Probably not

Well Chase was the best wr in the country so that’s a pretty high bar. He isn’t a burner but he has good size/hands and has elite route running and body control on contested catches. I think he’s perfect for this offense and Brees at this point in his career.

Chase has absolutely every aspect you want in a WR. He's probably the most well rounded WR I've seen in college in awhile but it's unnecessary to shite on Jefferson to prop up Chase.

Jefferson is very good himself. I don't where all these questions about his speed is coming from. In the last 2 years, he has caught a lot of deep balls by getting behind secondaries without getting caught from behind. He has excellent hands & body control. He may not have the lightning fast change of direction as Chase does but he isn't stiff by any means. Just look at the moves he put on Clemson defenders in the open field during the Title game.

Matter of fact, in 2018, Jefferson was Burrow's go to receiver. Jefferson put up really good numbers in back to back seasons. Doing so in 2018 with a less sophisticated offensive scheme should catch anyone's attention & make you realize that Jefferson is just not a slouch. He is a very good athlete & I believe his combine numbers will reflect just that.
