We need an OG/OT more than a WR. And the WR class is pretty deep this year. We don’t HAVE to get a player from LSU, so a WR in the third round from another school will work just fine.

We might have a shot at Queen and Divinity will likely be a late round steel for somebody. I'd take either of those two guys.

I would take Jefferson as well but I wish Chase was an option, I would like a guy with slightly better speed than Jefferson.

Jefferson has been compared by some to Michael Thomas(a good comparison IMO). I'll take two of Michael Thomas in a heartbeat but I would rather have one of them be a faster Michael Thomas, I don't think Jefferson is TBH.

Queen is a first round pick

Jefferson is more Michael Clayton than Michael thomas

I thought I saw he was late first round which could get him to our position. I do think he is likely to go before our pick, though. However, my understanding is first round picks are usually best player at a need and not best overall and I'm not sure we are looking for a LB that high but

I'll buy that.

JJ is great but the Saints have greater needs than receivers.

If Chase was draft eligible the Saints would have a 0% chance of picking him at 24.

I don't draft WRs in the first round.

It all depends. What if Love or Herbert slip to 24? What if a team like Indy (who has 2 2nd round picks) wants to trade up? On paper, yes 100%. I'm super high on Jefferson. He'd be a perfect #2 opposite of Mike Thomas.

That guy is a good QB, but is he a good fit for saints and I believe saints would be better at taking a receiver for their first pick that they pick. All saints have is Mike Thomas, they need some competition

Only if he is the best player available.
Especially in first 3 rounds I do not like selecting a position vs what BPA.

Yeah they do. Positive results can make you think you've got something you don't. Plenty of WRs out there who put up good numbers in college, and never amount to anything in the pros. JJ is a solid WR, but not a 1st round pick.

Jefferson runs great routes and has great hands. He lacks speed, but so does Larry Fitzgerald. Being able to catch contested balls and running hard, crisp routes make up for speed.

ETA: I’m not saying he will be the next Fitz. I just think he has a chance to be a solid choice. Even if we get him after the first round.

I'n not sure . Jefferson is not one to take the top off defenses whichis what the Saints need. Jefferson is a zone buster....a very good zone buster, but the Saints have that in Thomas. I am more of a Lamb fan for the Saints

If anyone, and I mean ANYONE from LSU is ever available at any spot then DRAFT THEM. Why? .... BECAUSE LSU

BECAUSE LSU
