Sanders is better than Haener and Rattler

Him and Haener are equal. If his last name wasn’t Sanders he would be on the same tier.

Since his time in college I’ve thought Rattler was not good, but he can flash Mahomes-lite plays and drives. He has the tools just inability to utilize them consistently. I’m taking Rattler 10 times out of 10 over Sanders, and I’m glad we are indicating we are moving on from Rattler this season.

All indications are the issue are Shedeurs interviews and his arrogance. The Deion talk seems more of a social media thing.

Based on what? Rattler has been average to mediocre everywhere he has been. He was on loaded Oklahoma teams compared to the teams he played in the Big 12 and stunk. Just say you didn’t watch Rattler in college and leave it at that.

Why would you want more backup QBs?

Because we are desperate at the qb position. We need to keep drafting them until we find our guy.

San Fran had Purdy and Lance in at the same time, sometimes the latter round guy can surprise you. We have a lot of picks today I believe, if there is one we like it’s not the worst thing in the world to bring another guy in and let him compete.

Deion admitted that he called an executive after a pre-draft meeting because it came out that the team didn't like Shadeurs attitude.

If you don't think Deion wouldn't be involved in some way you are crazy.

Why did you not quote my whole post? I’ve said I thought Rattler was not good in college, but he flashed and you can see the physical potential. Sanders does not show that. If I’m taking a mid to late round QB project I’m not taking the one without a ton of baggage.

I'm sure the team would love to be called out in the media for not starting him day 1.

This shadeur thing is different. There is this extra layer to his presence on a team. A lot of people are looking at it from a racial perspective but it seems to me more like a class thing. He’s this rich little nepo baby who has had a lot of things given to him. I just think teams see him as a brat.

Then your posts doesn’t make any sense because only 1 has played in the pros. We can only compare the college tape and resumes.

Might as well have asked TJ Finley to enter the draft if that’s all it takes.

If you take a late round qb, you take the guy who produced but dropped because of other things. Either lack of height, lack of arm strength, off field issues. The big arm and terrible guys never work out with these late picks. The Minshews/Purdys of the world at least become serviceable.

Why? So when he doesn't get to start or Kellen says something he doesn't like he can daddy, to his credit is a hof player, can call Mickey or Gayle and critique our new coach who just won the Superbowl as oc

But are the Sanders accepting the Saints???

With Sha-do-er.... you might get a Lamar Jackson or Mike Vic.... or you might get a Famous Jameis or Vince Young.

I'd pass just to be cautious.

All I needed to see to say nope..

It’s hard to argue why Sanders fell out of the first round when one of the coaches had this opinion

"The worst formal interview I've ever been in in my life,” a longtime assistant coach said. “He's so entitled. He takes unnecessary sacks. He never plays on time. He has horrible body language. He blames teammates. ... But the biggest thing is, he's not that good."

I didn't even think we should take a QB this draft, and now you suggest two? We're gonna suck anyway. Ride with Rattler and pick Manning or Nuss next year. That's what I wanted, but alas...

I mean, he didn’t exactly “stink”. I also wouldn’t put a terrible amount of stock in his performance as a rookie behind a 2nd team OL with a below average WR corps. And in spite of all that and playing on an overall shitty team in flux with an interim HC he did flash potential to make plays. I’m not sold on him, but I also think he has the tools, talent and attitude to develop still. I haven’t given up on him. And I hope the new staff gives him an honest shake to win the job.
