If Brady had been body slammed, all hell breaks loose

Carr took a needless hit to the face week 1. Earlier in the Green Bay game, Carr was hit in the grill. Then, he gets body slammed.
Players knew better, to never do this to Brady.
The NFL has a two tier protection system for NFL QB's. Guess what list Carrr falls on.
The Saints went out of their way to not injure the Packer's QB Love. The Saints gave up a big run to Love trying not to hurt him.
The NFL is supposedly for player safety and for protecting QB's especially.
The NFL failed on Sunday in many ways during the Saints game. The biggest failure was not sending a strong message week 1. Carr is not a RB. QB's are suppose to be protected.

The NFL is very flawed when it comes to this particular kind of issue, AND it may not even be a legitimate sports competition organization, given the many ways that Call and No-Calls change the outcome of the games.
Since there is no way to know for sure, most folks simply ignore these issues and enjoy the NFL as a form of entertainment, which is what it really is.

Penning should have beaten that dude's arse ... if the O-Line isn't getting even after that shite, you have a soft arse team.

Thank you. They let their QB and their selves get played.

Winston had his helmet pulled sideways on a sack that wasn’t called.

To be perfectly honest, the refs should've called roughing the passer either the play before the one that took him out of the game or the one before that.

It's bad enough that we protect quarterbacks like they aren't football players but when they say this quarterback is okay to hurt but this quarterback isn't..., Based on money..., That's insane

The accumulative effect of all those no calls emboldened the Packers to push the envelope. The NFL and the officiating crew are responsible for the injury.
The players will late hit, hold, block in the back, PI, punch in the face, and drive QB's into the ground as long as it's not being called.
The refs let the Packers know in the 4th quarter, do whatever you want.
I guess the Saints sent the league office a strongly worded letter about player safety and consistently calling PI and holding on both teams.
