Surprisingly I wouldn't hate this. I'd have him on a short leash though with the bullshite. Similar to how the patriots handled him.

So what would be the point then? Because he's not going to act normal just from the threat of getting cut. He's already shown that doesn't mean shite to him.

Simple question: Do we need WR help?
Simple question: Would AB improve our WR group?
Simple answer: yes!

We need another playmaker at WR, I’d love to see the stars from the last 8 games last year and so far this season in reception & yards from everybody not named Michael Thomas & Alvin Kamara.

He’s risky, sure, but give him a 1yr deal with a team option for the 2nd year. Put stipulations in his contract that allow us to cut bait giving up as little money as possible. Bring him in now for a so that way by the time playoffs come he is rocking & rolling. I get why people are leery, but look at how strong our locker room is, I’m not afraid of 1 person killing this chemistry. And we are a good team with legit super bowl hopes, that should entice him to be a good teammate

Will AB last more than two weeks before doing something crazy?

Maybe AB, CSP, and Drew will get along fine, in private, with a shared dislike of Roger Goodell and the NFL.

Most people think that if any team could take AN it was the Pats. I have always thought the Saints were the only team that could bring out the best in AB. Sean Payton is the ultimate "players coach" type of guy. That being said I hope they don't even entertain the possibility of bringing in AB. I worry that any success with him would come at an inevitable price that I would not be comfortable with. Just my opinion but I don't want a guy like him playing for my team.

Given our history with Goodell what good could possibly come from tweaking him again by hiring the guy who is on social media every day talking about how awful (and probably racist) the league is. That seems like a really bad idea.

EDIT: This was not aimed at you MrWhodat, just using your point as a jumping off point for mine

It won’t go well.

The NFL will not allow him to play this year.

Yes, definitely worth the risk. Really a no brainer. Yesterday we got exposed. In playoffs you best believe the good defenses will bracket Thomas and we'll struggle for any consistency in the passing game, other than underneath to AK. We need help. Worth the gamble, imo.
