Do you guys ever stop to think about what's going to happen to this team after Drew retires?

Mahomes would still be on the sidelines though if not for fatass Andy Reid trading up to grab him in front of NO. Brees would still have the kid on the sideline saying watch me young fella til it's your time.

Well he is about to own just about every passing record in the NFL, and no qb has ever thrown for more 5,000 yd seasons. Drew Brees is one of the top pure QBs to ever play the game.

Brady
Montana
Rodgers
Elway
Marino
Staubach
Unitas
Favre

Come on let’s be real Brees is a first ballot HOF but he falls towards the bottom of that list or right below. Stats don’t tell the whole story, how many times has Tom Brady had to throw the whole game because his team was coming from behind.

I honestly think Teddy Bridgewater is going to be better than Mahommes. Not by much though. Mahomes looks legit and Andy Reid is really good at managing quarterbacks.

You just made everybody's point for them and destroyed your own. The fact that Drew has never had any help from his defense is part of what makes him so great. Defenses know he's going to throw the ball and still can't stop him. Tom Brady only plays with the best head coach in history of the NFL, had the best wide receiver in history in Randy Moss, has probably the best tight end in NFL history in Rob Gronkowski and has had nothing but top 10 defenses his entire time in New England. Drew Brees would have just as many if not more Super Bowls in that same situation.

Oh, I forgot to add, the Patriots play in a horrible conference. The NFC has been much more competitive in the years that Tom Brady's been in the league. For the Patriots it's pretty much just been them, the Ravens and Colts for about half the time and then the Steelers. There's a huge drop off after that in the AFC.

I will never understand the Rodgers love over Brees.

What Brees has done in New Orleans is unreal. Go back and actually look at the stats over the past 5-7 seasons and Brees will avg top three in just about all of them. He’s so consistent. At some point durability and consistency should factor in.

If you swapped Brees and Brady

Pretty sure Brees would have every bit as many Super Bowls, if not more.. and I’m not so sure Brady would have similar success.

We just need to get Brees multiple championships to really cement his legacy.
