Winston has had 1 good season his whole life and is still living off of it. It was his freshmen season at FSU. Yet he throws 55%, averages 170 yards/game, and has a good TD/Int ratio for 6 games with the best offensive mind in football, and all of the sudden he is a stud and better than Watson. The dude is not a top 10 QB and we will never win anything of significance with him, Top 5 defense or not.

He was really solid last year and has underrated pocket presence.

I don't think anyone has said that or believes it. He doesn't have to be a top 10 QB. He just has to be better than average and push the ball downfield for splash plays occasionally. The Defense is the strength of this team now so we don't need a Drew Brees to replicate the success we've had in the recent past. It's just a different kind of success.
Now add Watson to this roster and we are immediately SB favorites instead of playoff contenders.

Can we also not draft a QB. Have Winston as the starter. Draft a QB to learn the ropes and have the him and Taysom as backup just incase Jamies gets hurt or needs extra time to recover. Tom Brady was a six round pick, Jimmy G was a second round pick, it’s possible to find a guy in the latter rounds/picks
