We need a lot of shite but we could use a star rb however you get him.

Baugh from florida would ease the qb’s workload.

Agree. Our offense desperately needs a stud running back to make play action more realistic. I love AK but he is a shell of his former self. We have no home run threat.

We need Barry Sanders reincarnated because our offensive line is non existent.

There’s not a Bijan in every draft…. I think we need to draft defensive playmakers. If you have a stout defense, you’ll be in every game

But I’m jealous that we don’t have a Bijan

Thanks, Captain Obvious.

I think we should go find a Tom Brady, Willie Roaf, Terrell Owens, and Lawrence Taylor while we’re at it.

I argued this unsuccessfully with people recently. People love thinking they sound smart saying you don’t spend high picks on running backs, but the ability for a guy like Johnathan Taylor, Gibbs, Bijan, Kenneth Murray, etc. to take a random hand off 70 yards to the house is such an unbelievable asset. Especially as the game has teetered back and forth and we sit in an era of smaller lighter front 7’s that adjusted to the passing era.

Organizations like Green Bay, Philly, Seattle, San Fran, and many others feast on grabbing quality players in the second and third round that open up the ability for them to grab freaks early, or trade top picks for them. As well as elite cap management of course.

The shining example of the opposite of this coin to me is Chase Brown for Cincy. He’s a very good back, and at times fills the stat sheet, but he’s what people point to when they say “you can get quality backs in the late round”, but the reality is he gets stonewalled and lacks long play explosiveness.
