Whoever they pick as the next head coach… and we all hope he’s a Diamond in the Rough….I pray he’s a Diamond in the Rough…. Even if this pans out:
The challenges that man will face are monumental and can’t be fixed overnight per…..
1). Salary Cap (Issues in 2025, 2026, 2027).
2) Old and average talent throughout the roster… requiring Killer Drafting Skills.
3) We can’t rid ourselves of Mickey Loomis
The new HC will be well-paid ….but years of great work lay ahead !!!

meh, NFL is set up for instant turn arounds. The Vikings were in a soft rebuild. Washington wasn't expected to be a serious contender. The Rams were one more loss away from trading Stafford and blowing it up before their win streak. It literally takes one good draft or one to two years to completely turn it around.
We are not in an ideal setup, but it is not like we are stuck for 3-5 years.

2025 and to a lesser extent 2026 are the only bad cap years we will have. 2027 will be the golden era in this rebuild.

I would tell you that’s we’re still in the mid 20s of available cap for 2027. It’s a meaningless number but once Loomis starts his can kicking, particularly on Badger and Jordan that number will turn negative as usual.
The Raiders have over $500M available and upper half of the league all over $350M.
It will be 2030 before we are dug out and that’s if we draft well.
The job sucks and the team needs to be sold soon.
