His stop-start ability and acceleration doesn't come around every year.

There aren't even many guys in the nfl who can do what he does.

He says he will be ready for training camp.

I think you confusing Metchie.

Saints made the right choice with Olave.

Well he asked how it was relevant to this board Chester.

Don't even say anything.

You compared olave to Johnny know and kenny stills.

Olave is an all around receiver. You will be eating those words.

Cool, how many Alabama games did you watch this year compared to OSU games? And to give you some semblance of credit sure he can be top 2 but who's to say we didn't get #1

Pla

Olave is nice when you watch the film. Jameson is a legitimate game breaker though.

I do have concern about the character and intelligence of some of these bama prospects though considering Ruggs.

Olave is an elite human and a safe bet to be solid.

Jameson could legitimately be the next great receiver, but I have less confidence in him as a human being, plus the injury is a bit of a wildcard.

The obvious answer is because we passed on Williams to draft Olave.

I agree with the OP. In fact, that opinion was the general consensus. I think most people would have selected Williams.

The Saints had a different opinion.

Do you have concerns about LSU prospects because of Guice? They’ve cranked out plenty of good pro WR

Williams was the top guy I wanted in this draft. I like Olave. Everyone seems to agree he’s a really good, solid, number 2 option.

Williams is fricking Tyreek Hill with the mindset of a MLB. Williams is gonna be the best WR in this draft and we coulda had him.

Let's say he isn't. He misses a few games.

Does that stop you from drafting the most explosive receiver?

You have him under contract for 5 years.

Can you guarantee that same explosiveness post surgery?

Nah. I judge the LSU guys individually because I know more about them. I’ve seen more games, interviews, etc.

It’s why I championed for the Bengals to take JaMarr over a rando Oregon lineman with 20 pizzas on his living room draft table and it’s why I hate Stingley as a prospect.

I don’t group the LSU guys together because I know more about them.

I don’t know this Jameson guy as much. I have not watched his mannerisms that closely and I’ve only seen 1 interview.

He’s not an impressive interview. I will say that. But I don’t have enough to go off of.

Olave is def not going to be an off the field issue. You can tell. Jameson is more of a wild card. That’s the only conceivable reason the saints would pass on him, because he is the better pure football prospect.

Would you expect him to say anything different, dude has millions of dollars riding on where he's drafted! Ask Nakobe Dean...
