Nothing has changed
Just because half the board wanted dalton over Winston doesn’t mean it wasn’t recognized that the saints have a qb issue

This. Winston fans like the OP someone confuse logical minded people saying Dalton is a better option as Dalton is the answer.
Dalton had a solid 1st half. Nothing worked in the second and he under threw a 50-50 ball(we could have done a better job at breaking it up).
We all just know that Winston would put us in a much worse position that Dalton. I’d rather have a qb who is consistently *meh* than a guy whose floor is below the earths crust.

I can’t defend Dalton at all, but if you think Winston would have done any better, you are delusional. Loomis and the front office fricked us over by not preparing for Brees’ retirement and making ridiculous deals that cost us our first round draft pick. This is just the beginning. It’s going to get alot worse before it gets better.

Winston sucked even when most everyone was healthy, he was horrific. AD sucks also but can at least play below average. They both suck the same. Sure you have a right to start a thread, you just look dumb. If Winston comes back and sucks whoever starts a I told you so thread about Dalton will look retarded also
