Just looking at him on the Fox show now and I can punch him in the face through the television screen.
He quit. He flat out quit. I remember in his farewell speech that last day, he said the best part is “I don’t know what’s next”. Yeah, bullshite. Dude, go frick yourself.
You left this organization in shambles and it will take a long time to mend.

Took a long time for a lot of you to wake up to what some of us have been saying. But I’m glad you made it.

Same. And I realize its petty but hope he fails in a spectacular way.
And he looked like a hobbit in a suit next to Gronk.

He was an employee of the Saints. After 16 years of living in a city that is going further and further into the toilet his new bride (and him) had enough.

You need help.
Seriously.

How long did he actually live in the city? I remember seeing him on the Northshore at the Sanctuary . Which believe me is not a slum! Payton cannot use NOLA being a shite hole as a excuse for the BS he pulled the last number of years with the Saints. How many other NFL cities are shite holes? LA , SF , Chicago, Philly, Buffalo ect the list goes on and on. Payton is only of value for the 1st round draft picks we can get for him.

You usually don’t quit a job like that unless things fell apart internally.

Just like saban at lsu, ill forever be grateful for what he built. Hope he has success except against the saints. Just like Saban, in 10 years, yall will appreciate him more

I hate 31 nfl teams, so yeah, I hope he fails too.

You can do both. I was probably one if the last Sean defenders on here. I will continue to defend his ability as a coach. But he is an a-hole
Going on a national radio show and trying to manipulate the compensation the Saints get is messed up.

He has always been an arrogant piece of shite. It should shock nobody that his pill head arse stiffed the Saints organization like he did.
I agree, I hope he fails wherever he goes. The Saints are shite because of him and his terrible contracts he wanted. Hope he takes Loomis with him too.
We all appreciate what he did here but as time went on, his flaws really started to show and he's always been slimy POS which is why the NFL targets the Saints organization so much as an example. You have Payton to thank for the NFL constantly bending the Saints over he always thought he was better than his employer which is a huge no no. Now look at what he's doing. Going on shows, picking teams he wants to coach for, being a smug POS. He's the reason we couldn't get anything out of Brees prime.
Saints should've went to multiple SBs with Brees. Payton is a good coach but he's definitely overrated as well. He lost it his last 7 or so years here and that couldn't be anymore evident at how soft his offenses were with consistent historic losses in the playoffs. He didn't make 1 historic loss but rather multiple. Let that sink in.

I mean We aren’t in shambles we just don’t have a franchise QB.
We’re pretty much ok otherwise.

He strictly in it for the money now. At 59, going to be tough to get into it again like he was when he took over for the Saints
Posted on 1/22/23 at 8:32 pm to JS87
Yeah fu ck him. He’s a quitter.

I would agree if that turns out to be true.
Where are you getting that from?
