I hope people are getting used to the idea of Marlon Humphrey at 11...

Because when it gets this close to the draft and there is this much smoke, there is usually fire.

All of a sudden everyone and their mother is mocking Humphrey to us, and tons of people seem to be mentioning him now going in the top 15 and specifically to us.

Its kind of weird. It could be smokescreen, but really often when there is this kind of convergence, it happens.

Same kind of convergence happened with Kenny Vaccaro in 2013.

You may be right, Fun Bunch.

Good player. 11 may not be best "value" but wouldn't be shocked.

So....I just should just throw away my Saints stuff now is what you're saying. Theres no way we're THAT dumb is there???

If we're gonna take him (for the love of God I hope not) at least trade back 10-15 spots

So a bunch of people from outside the Saints org now know who the saints are taking at 11?

I think if we can move down 3-6 slots we can still pick him up.

Yea, I noticed the same thing. Similar situation with Rankins last year.

Humphrey will be yet another bust DB drafted way too soon by the Saints. This pick would be

Wouldn't hate it if we moved down a couple of slots and then took him.

Loomis already said they've taken calls about teams wanting to move ahead. Unless some player they didn't expect falls then I would think they move back to 13-16 and take Humphrey

As an Alabama fan, Humphrey at 11 would be a disaster. I wouldn't even want him at 32. Great athlete, average CB.

this is what worries more than anything.

No offense, but Bama fans tend to be extremely defensive about their players, and quite homerific.

Almost every single one of them laughs at the notion of Humphrey going at 11.

That is...worrisome.

I don't see it happening and this is why. Teams will start to reach and 1 or 2 teams will trade up. Someone the Saints love will fall to them or they will trade out of no. 11 spot, he can be had later with a trade back not worth #11 pick.

if an alabama CB is described as raw coming into the draft, that's like the biggest, reddest flag possible.

If we would really reach that far for a player like him (huge bust potential), we really need to be begging the Patriots to reconsider and trade us Butler (and use 11 on a DE/edge).

Nah man. He just didn't get good enough coaching at Bama.

Speaking as a Bama fan, that's waaaaaay to early for Marlon. I thought he should've come back for another year. Would be a really risky pick that early. Unfortunately, I think we'd regret it.

Hypothetical if that was the Saints target, brah.

No interest in the Saints drafting him.
