I have a feeling Phillip Rivers will be playing for us this Sunday.

Just wrapped his highschool coaching season.
Already said he would play if the right situation came around.
Instant playoff caliber QB with a loaded defense.
Would take the wear and tear off of hill for schemes.
Would only want a short term deal. Its a no brainer.

There is a less than 0% chance that a QB not on the roster this weekend and a less than 1% chance that it will happen this season.

I didn't. You did by thinking a washed up QB who has no experience with our playbook could step in and be better than two guys who are not old as dirt and know the playbook.
the colts had Jacoby Brissett come in and throw deep balls for Phillip Rivers last year. Think about that.

Do yourself a favor and flip on any game tape of Rivers from the last 3 years. Then delete your post.
Guy has a weaker arm than Brees, is half as smart and has double the amount of kids to distract him from learning our offense on the fly.

Exactly. Dudes arm is washed beyond Brees. Even that casual fan could see that last year. Plus, his whack throwing mechanics do no help his cause. I took everything he had to chuck it 20 yards.
