We went in to take a look. I asked the bartenders if anyone in there was from or had any connection to New Orleans. They didn't seem to know what I was talking about.
Cool place though and I will definitely check it out because our hotel is not far from there.

It is very safe. You can walk for miles from one side of town to the other at all hours of the day and night without having to worry about serious crime.
