All the haters, naysayers, negative statistical guru fricks, and anyone who comes on here all week long with this bullshite Reggie can't do this, he'll never be that type of player crap, can bet your arse are the ones on Sunday jumping up and down, hi fiving, dancing around, and spilling beer and shite when he scores TD's or gets to the first down marker and moves the chains.

So we either have to blow his dick or completely hate him? Is there no in between? Can I not criticize him for running like a pussy and cheer for him when he finally makes a nice play? Do you cheer for him when he runs out of bounds four yards shy of a defender? I don't have to be a sheep and blindly cheer the players because they are Saints.

well, he has started fumbling alot. I hope he improves.

my biggest issue is when he sucks it up in the running game, and after 10 rushes for 17 yards payton abandons the running game and we throw the ball 50 times and drew throws like 3 ints and we lose.

do you mean the hit he took from 5-9, 190 lb sheldon brown?

Personally, I think Bush is a BUST, but the fact is that Brown would have knocked any player, no matter the size, on their arse under the same circumstances.
Bush had his eyes on Brees with his hands up ready to catch the ball.

Bush is a good player, not worth the big contract he is getting and not an everydown RB. Basically, a situation guy. Stecker is a stud who hits the hole with way more power than Bush will ever have. Thomas seems to be a physically complete RB but needs to work on the mental aspect, a little more. He picked up Rivers blitzing on one play, very important. Thomas will be ready to carry the load one day soon.

Im about ready to concede to slowfro that bush cant be an every down back. we will find out this year. the guy is just tackled way too easy.

Aside from Sean Payton, I don't know of anybody in the world who is arguing that Reggie Bush can be an every down RB in the NFL. I never thought that, and I don't know too many people who ever did. Jim and Hokie didn't think so - and they've been saying as much since Week 4 last season.

What the Bush supporters are saying is that we'd like to see him used like he was in 2006. Lined up as a RB about 10 times per game, but only actually run off tackle or guard for about 3 of those times. Lined up as a slot receiver for another 15 times, and as a WR for 5 times. Punt Returner for 6 times.

Mix it up and get him his touches in a myriad of ways. What Sean Payton did last year was retarded.

My point is, that, without directly calling anyone out, sfp towelie and others, it really wouldn't matter if tommorrow Bush scored 7 touchdowns in a game, you, as well as others, would come right back on here and try to find the most negative, derogatory things to post about the dude.

I have no problem with being opinionated on players and their perfomances, but shite, how many weeks do we have to listen to the same negative shite from the same people here. We have heard it week in and week out.

Oh, and by the way, I haven't heard a positive fricking thing from you on Reggie Bush so eat a dick bitch. Don't try to defend yourself on that shite. I haven't seen you start any negative threads or make any comments when Colston drops passes, or Deuce doesn't put up the yards, or Brees over/under throws some recievers.

Your fricking arguement blows dick, and you are so full of shite. My point was, I can see you during a game pumping your fist and cheering when he scores or moves the chains, and then on Monday you post on here about how he runs out of bounds or can't hit the hole and all the same bull.

You know that shite is true.

No if he scored 7 tds in a game we'd talk about what he did right. No one said he couldn't score, just that he dances like a third string back when he gets a call up the middle. Get his pubes out of your eyes so you can watch the games. We all want him to do well and that includes just hitting the hole and going back to the huddle for the next play. If you don't think he dances too much you're kidding yourself. No one is hating on him and we all cheer loud (not if) when he scores.

I don't have a man crush like you make it out to be. I just appreciate what he does for the team that I suit up in black and gold for every weekend. That's all.

There are more repeating Reggie Bush bash threads on Saints Talk than anything else. I agree that he isn't an every down, up the middle basher. I never said he was or wasn't. Like stated earlier by someone, I don't think anyone here ever said that he was. If anyone expects him to it is the same mofos that start this shite every week. All someone has to do is start a thread with the title REGGIE BUSH, and ya'll attack it like a plate of hotwings.

We obviously agree to disagree and that's fine. You keep bashin', and I'll keep defending. At least we are commmunicating.....

Reggie is a golden god. He runs hard, hits holes, uses his blockers, stays patient and always puts his shoulder down for the extra yard. He's got great biceps, vision, and a superior work ethic. He broke a punt return once, and a long touchdown against the bears. He is fricking awesome.

Thus the perils of being an NFL quarterback. Drew Brees is the best QB in the NFC. Book it.

Reggie is the highest paid decoy in the NFL....How come everyone cries when Reggie has decent week, for a decent player!!! He is not going to remeber to eat his Wheaties one day, and turn into a fricking legend like most of the Reggie homers think he will. He is an Average back with a big booty bitch... Oh KK

Guys look, I don't think that ya'll are really getting what I and few others are stating in regards to this topic. I know Brees, Colston, and Deuce are money. And the funny thing is I'm nowhere near a Reggie Bush "homer." What's even funnier is that I believe the majority of people myself included, agree with ya'll about the dude. That's the kicker about the whole thing.

I think this whole arguement hinges on what everyones "expectations" are from him. That's where we disagree I believe. I feel that ya'll just expect him to do the things that he's not that good at (up the middle running). The contract vs your expectations is what I believe you argue.

Myself, if he consistently scores TDs, gets first downs, decoys and allows others to make plays, and occasionally breaks some big ones, call me easy, but that's all I need man.

Oh, and I have said this many times before, Brees is by far my favorite Saint. Has been since he's been here. I guess I could see the whole Reggie ball licker thing since I argue his case so much...

who gives a shite? none of those stats matter.

Dan Marino held all sorts of bullshite meaningless statistical records, but he has 1 fewer Super Bowl ring than Trent Dilfer.

Are you actually suggesting that Dilfer is somehow better than Marino?

And what the frick does this have to do with Bush? At some point, stats tell you something about a player.

"tip toe through the tulips"

I think he is at the point of not becoming an every down back. His instinct is to make punt return moves before hitting the hole on running plays. He will occasionally make spectacular plays but right now Pierre Thomas is more reliable running between the tackles.

No doubt about his desire or effort. He has not adjusted his game to the pro level.

when we open decent holes for him and dont have a person in the backfield, i will say he can't run the ball well. he's not a "brusier", hes a scat back..... sweep off tackle toss screen pass etc.... you'll never hear me say he's an evry down back.... he's the butter to deuce's bread or some shite like that
