Saints haven't got the big name guys or the flashy picks but I guess it's been pretty solid. Wish we could have gotten a wr instead of qb and drafted qb next round though. Also wish we would have went guard instead of tackle but idk if we valued a guard high enough since Collins downfall? Didn't care for CB right there. What's yall thoughts

We still have time to get a good WR.

Possibly the greatest draft in the history of the NFL.

And we've only used half our picks.

I have no idea how to feel about this. We've mixed future with current.

Worried about wr

3 solid picks that will contribute immediately. 2 shitty picks way too early for "future picks"

Don't agree with the pick of Grayson over a WR, everything else has been average or better

My opinion on this draft is that, in a year where we're paying Drew Brees $20m+ to help us compete for a SB, our top 5 picks may not see as many snaps as the first Falcons pick.

It's...strange. I really like the Anthony and Williams picks. The Peat pick caught me off guard but I like it if he and Armstead become our bookened tackles for years to come. To me the Grayson pick is an absolute waste right now. Thankfully we had two third rounders and it wasn't too costly.

The Falcons have had a better draft than us with 3 picks compared to our 5.

...THE FALCONS.

So, to answer your question, not too good.

Got a couple of solid LBs, the best OL in the draft, third best QB in the draft, and one of the best CBs in the draft. All my opinions. I'm happy with it. Not an A, but a solid B for me.

That's such a ridiculous statement. People were giving our 06 draft mediocre grades, it worked out. See what happens first.

The only pick I don't like is the QB. Not a need for a team with holes at WR and on defense

Yep. We have a Hall of Fame QB who still has 3 years left of throwing for 5000 yards and 30+ TDs and we pick some guys for the future.

We needed a guard and a WR. Instead, we got a backup Tackle and a backup QB and a slow CB.

Apart from the ILB at 31, I don't see the impact players here.

Feeling pretty good about it actually. Glad we got someone to replace Grubbs, and not in the sense of the position. Obviously Strief will probably fill in that guard spot while our draftee will start at the RT position.

Really like the Stephone Anthony pick. This guy was really the key factor that made the Clemson defense last season really work. Like how he is a proven leader as well, which we really didn't have much in Lofton. Hopefully this guy pans out like Vilma did for us.

Liking the Samoan dude as well. He was a proven leader and is one of the better pass rushers in this draft. Good fit to have alongside Galette.

Dunno about Grayson. Hope this pans out like Rodgers did in GB, but that kind of situation hardly ever happens.

Not a fan of the CB pick, considering we just went out and got a decent CB through FA. Good for depth, sure, but I would have preferred a WR, but I suppose with the Saint's history that can wait.
