How bad does losing Rankins hurt?

Well the saints pitched a shutout in the three quarters he was out so probably not the worst thing in the world. I think our defense is severely underrated

It's a massive loss no doubt, but it's a loss at our deepest position. Onyemata is going to make a NATIONAL name for himself over the next 2 games.

Foles is probably better than Goff right now. Rams WR talent is probably equal to the Eagles's talent. Rams running game is WAY better, though.

Luckily our DL depth is decent. I’m not just worried about this run but long term. Tough injury to come back from. He was a stud this year.

I think it could play a factor but we will gear up for the run more than we did against the Eagles. We pretty much shut the run down outside of that first quarter. Gurley will get some yards but we should be more prepared for it.

It’s a big loss but the rotation is strong as evidenced by the remainder of this Eagles game.
More than anything else, I feel bad for Sheldon that he won’t get to play for an NFC Championship or, God willing, a Super Bowl. He deserves those after his play this year and I’m sure he’s devastated he won’t be on the field with his team.

I don’t think it hurts our run D. I think it hurts our interior pass rush.
