Yeah, good idea. Then they will move to San antonio. She wanted them to move because that's where she is from. So....how about no?

Tom Benson shut that down because there were threats made towards Gayle via Rita and that was the lat straw for Tom.

The judge deemed Tom competent. She tried and failed. Then an appeals court upheld the decision.

Mickey and DL are ruining the Benson Legacy. TB would have fired them by now. Too bad DL is the executor. Is there a way to get rid of him and ML and rebuild from the top. The Saints Org. sucks top to bottom.

And in America, with billions and a NFL team on the line a lot of people wouldn’t have just gave up. Tom still alive or passed on doesn’t matter, even with the threats. That gold digging woman come into Tom’s life and turned everything upside down in his life, including causing him to turn on blood. I don’t care that Rita might be gay, or might have at the same time been sleeping with players. Blood is thicker than water, and now Saint’s fans get an owner that doesn’t care VS a blood grand daughter that might have a few personal issues.

As much as most people here think of Tom, you think he's marrying Gayle and willing everything to her when he dies if she's nothing but a gold digger? Would Tom make heads roll at this point? I'd like to believe so. Is Gayle in over her head? Definitely. Is Rita batshit crazy, entitled, spoiled and didn't deserve to inherit a multi billion dollar franchise? Absolutely. All things can be true.

Blood is still blood, and I’ll continue to say it. What’s really the difference between the grandchild that was going through things, and the gold digging wife that just magically appeared? Gayle was never part of the equation until she snuck up and put her claws into Tom. She might be a great person that truly cares about the church, the less fortunate and all of that, but in my personal opinion I don’t believe it, especially when it comes to the Saints. If she comes out later today and gets rid of the coach and GM, I’ll gladly eat crow, but I don’t see that happening.

They keep this up, and season ticket sales plummet below 40k they’ll be on the move anyway. May as well bring in someone not afraid to fire people like Rita.

Let's quit acting like Tom Benson was always a model owner. That's revisionist history. If you're going to include the good (hiring Jim Finks/Jim Mora, hiring Sean Payton/signing Drew Brees), you better include the bad (pissing and moaning about playing at LSU, fights with the state over money, threatening to leave town), too.
