I just remembered who tf our first round pick was and then said to myself I don’t remember hearing his name once in preseason matchups?

I get the sense he will be treated like Davenport 2.0 on this board. Hopefully he gets healthy soon.

This draft may go down as one of the worst (if not the worst) of all time.

He's been hurt since August 10th. Which is frustrating since I never heard it was anything serious yet he's been out for weeks

WTF you talking about? Payton was getting rave reviews from everyone who saw him practice. Pete Warner was always in the right place and making plays in practice. Adebo may wind up starting week 1, or at the very least, contributing early. Ian Book looks like he belongs in the NFL and other teams have tried to trade for him. Landon Young may have won the swing tackle role and could make Hurst expendable. Baker will wind up on the practice squad

I don’t blame the kid, but it was a terrible pick, as was Davenport, and you tell as soon as they were drafted.

Good thing is Davenport is finally balling out
Let's hope he stays healthy

Turner will contribute but it takes time for rookies to learn the ins and outs of that position
Probably more situational this year

Davenport is balling out because it is his contract year. Finally motivated to work hard for himself.

Why bro? It's not even the season yet. Some of these dudes have a few nagging injuries and while we haven't seen them in the preseason, that doesn't mean we won't this year. R E L A X

I like Turner and Werner, but it is kind of frustrating that our 1st and 2nd rd picks will likely be spot rotation at best players this year when we are so thin at positions like corner, Def tackle, wide receiver, and tight end.

Marshall getting scooped by Carolina was especially rough considering we have 7-8 capable linebackers on our team and only 1 healthy and capable receiver at the moment.

Turner is probably pretty damn good, but he will probably be buried on the bench most of the season behind an aging Cam, Davenport, Granderson, and the CPA. It’s tough to give a guy reps that basically didn’t play a lick of training camp and has 4-5 established guys in front of him.

I don’t know. It’s pretty tough to beat the draft when they took a punter in the first or second round. That was a long time ago though.

We were thin at the LB position before we knew Kwon was coming back. And we have no clue what Baun is going to do. And with DE's, you can never have too many of them plus don't forget Turner can play DT as well.

Yeah LB did definitely seem like more of a need around draft time. It’s fine. I’m sure Werner will contribute eventually. Might just not be this year.

Way to early just like we thought last years sucked and now it looks like Caesar, Zack, are studs and we stole Callaway who looks like and all pro. We needed this infusion of young talent bad.
Hopefully this last class does half as good as 2017 and we are good.
