I can't think of a reason why they would even put this pick, if not to start shite.

I think I said the exact same thing when they showed the replay that showed the ball coming out before crossing the goal line during the game.

I have an idea:

How about you give up less than 36 points in the second half? Then you don't have to complain about the one call that went against you, because it wouldn't matter. It would be "Oh that was obviously a fumble, but we won by 10 anyways, so who cares."

This is only an issue because Miami crapped their pants AGAIN with a lead. Figure out how to close a game. Once again, the Saints OWN the fourth quarter.

This just further shows that the officiating crew during that game was one of the worst if not the worst in the league. All around it was pretty terrible in all aspects.

How about a picture of the completed and unreviewable first down on MIA's first drive, with the ref looking right at the ball on the ground? When the head coach hands you the red flag because it was so obvious, there's something wrong.

Someone needs to sign up on that board and ask them why they sabotaged the replay system in the first quarter

any long suffering Saints fan cannot feel one bit wrong about this. It's about time a break falls the right way.

With that ref right there ya gotta go makeup call. Think Charles Scott post TD penalty after the Georgia one.

wasn't that like an 8 yard pass, and the dolphins ended up punting on that drive anwyway? so it really made no difference.

this would have taken 7 points away from the saints, given the dolphins the ball at the 20, and changed to tone of the game.

the 2 calls really aren't comparable.

But, tough shite. it happens, plus it was IN Miami.

They can have that 7 points back and we still win by 5.

that picture is photoshopped. Look at number 80 and where he is staring.

No, Miami doesn't throw a pic at the end and we lose by 1.

doesn't really seem like he's looking that far off, maybe just a hair ahead of where sharper is, which is where he would need to dive to make contact

Meh, I can remember going to a Saints - Fins game at Miami in 1980 where the Saints were robbed of a win on a bogus offensive interference call on Ike Harris. Harris caught a TD on the last play of the game that would have given the Saints a win but the officials wrongly called him for offensive interference, wiping out the TD. Since the clock ran out and NFL rules stipulate that the game can end on an offensive penalty, it won the game for Miami. Later in the week, the NFL admitted that the officials blew the call and apologized to the Saints.

Consider it a little Karma payback, albeit 29 years too late.

I remember that game too, and can still see Archie pleading at the ref, we were 0-alot at the time. I hope GW will mention to the D about covering up on turnovers saw this coming on the play and also last week Shanle was stripped too. hope they address this!

Maybe Sharper regained control before crossing the endzone? Either way, the Saints won, it isn't going to change, lets move on.
