You can't miss a 29 yarder. That's an instant pink slip

And if we stop playing for FGs as a strategy, we win also.

Guy was 74% in college.

Underhill said the Saints said they don't really care about that. Its the workouts that matter.

Never in my life heard of in-game kicking not mattering.

If he makes his FGs, then we are able to kick another on the crappy 4th down pass to Kamara that came up short. Both the D and O did enough (hard to believe as bad and bland as the O is). This one is on the kicker IMO

Grupe really blew it this game but he’s just one of the many symptoms of a Dennis Allen-led team

Blaming the kicker for the loss is the laziest of lazy takes today

He's directly responsible for points left on the field in a kicking situation (barring a block, usually). He literally has one job.

Now the position of being in 4th downs, that's on the lethargic, unimaginative offense that Sean Payton's personal assistant has put out there.

And the fact that he's out there is on the garbage head coach we got off the trash pile.

Now, at the top of this trash heap pyramid is Mickey Loser and Tom Benson's squeeze.

You have teams going out there, properly motivated and schemed, doing a whole lot more with a whole lot less than what the Saints have. The franchise needs to be sold and the morons that keep enabling this cycle of Purgatory need to be sent packing. End of story, enjoy the rebuild.

Also have to add. Apart from the amazing draft that brought us Kamara and Lattimore, Jeff Ireland has drafted extremely poorly in the trenches. That to me is one of the biggest problems with this team. The Saints got dominated at the line of scrimmage, and they had first round talent out there getting manhandled. Either they are poorly-assessed players in the draft or the Saints coaching staff are dogshit at developing them.

Either way, the Saints are coasting on thr fumes of one good draft.

Did he miss 2 kicks? Yes

Do we know how either of those possible make change the game?

No we do not.

If he makes 2 kicks they have an opportunity to kick the game winner. I like those chances. That should have been in the cards with an NFL kicker.
