I know we talk aboput the DB's getting toasted but except for Ellis getting after the QB once Charles and Will and doing SH>T and Grant not for the last two years they suck.

Someone give me another point of view(maybe I'm wrong)

Watch them, boo them, cheer them, pray for them because they're going to be around for a while. The Saints won't be able to get rid of them for a looong time.
Let's just hope they find religion.

Based on pass performance, yes.

I think Charles Grand absolutely got overpaid(Not based on preseason). Will Smith would have gotten that money from somebody, so I wouldn't say overpaid. I think he's a little overrated, but not overpaid.

Trade Grant - he sucks. I'll take Lito Sheppard straight up.

Make it happen. I think we could even get a 6th or 7th round draft pick with that trade, and apparently that's the only rounds we do any good with.

1. Its the fricking pre-season
2. Smith is not
3. Grant may be.

This is my opinion on thier past performance.

It would not surprise me to see Grant play A LOT more DT and McCray start on the outside. Grant has put on a good bit of weight since he's gotten into the league and IMO could become a good DT to creat pass rush up the middle with Ellis. That puts a ton of speed out there on the D-line, if he could play with leverage at the tackle spot it could be a bright spot for us.

Smith, got what he deserved.

I don't know if that will happen now that they have Booger and Ellis.

I hear ya, here's what's funny to me. I say move Smith inside because he's a much more physical, stronger player than Grant, Grant to me is a fatboy, have you seen his gut lately.

Why would you want the fatboy playing DE, then? Move him inside and let Smith and McCray and Savage rotate the ends.

You can laugh at Savage, but all he needs to do is go in for 7 plays or so to give the others a breather.

Grant could help at DT, though.

I don't think Booger is on the team. They brought him in and looked at him, but I don't think he was ever signed. He isn't even on the roster. Can anyone confirm this?
