D.

It looks like a B now, but keep in mind their drafting prowess. The status quo is that only 2 of our draftees will still be playing in 2 years, and one will be riding the bench or on IR.

We got the best corner

We have a guy covering both tackle spots and who will replace strief who is 34very soon, our o line is now very young besides unger

We have no idea if Bell can cover, we crave defense but if he has issues we're in big trouble over the top. We now have an uber young centerfield playmaker at FS who can play nickel.

We got the 2nd best receiving back in the draft at a position which is critical for our offense to scare the shite out of other teams.

The analzone pick is the most questionable. Completely dependent on health.

We added a pass rusher that a lot of guys like to throw in rotation with Kiki and okafor.

This team had a lot of holes and you can't fill them all. But we filled a ton and have gotten younger and better.

B+

Anzalone having a 1% chance to make it out of TC off the PuP list is an automatic letter drop. Great value everywhere else.

We got fricking Marshon Lattimore and every pick has filled needs on our squad and depth chart.

A+

But considering we traded a previous number one and next years two it had to be very high. Considering those assets it is a solid b.

We are significantly better on both offense and defense than we were Thursday morning barring injuries. I still want to pick up a WR, though.

A, regardless of the rest of the draft.

Added the top CB, a top 3 OT, a top 5 Safety, a top 4 RB, a 4.65 edge rusher and a LB who, if he stays healthy, could be a stud.

From the NFL site on our needs:

quote:

NEEDS ANALYSIS

In a division full of talented quarterbacks, finding better talent at both cornerback and safety is a must. The Saints need depth at linebacker and could look for a hybrid talent there. The trade of Brandin Cooks has turned WR into a potential high priority. At some point, the Saints will need to address defensive end. And Drew Brees can't play forever, so a future QB could be taken.

We will need to trade up into the 4th to get a WR. The only thing not filled out of their assessment.

C+ - filled the huge hole at CB but missed out on an elite pass rusher this team desperately needed.

With only a 6th left unless we trade, this is pretty much it. The last guy will be lucky to make the PS, much less the 53.

That said, I'll give it an A+ on looks, but reserve true judgment until we see them play (and then final judgment 3 years from now).

How. OLB was always a big Saints need. Little question about his on field talent and can play any position needed. Reuben Foster like with versatility. Just needs to stay on field, Saints looked into his medicals not us.

I'm with most here, Analzone is the questionable pick for me, would have preferred EDGE there, even if we double down EDGE and still get Hendrickson.

Relative to a typical Saints draft, this is an A+. No reaching.

In relation to a a typical NFL team's draft, A-.
