B+...if Lattimore and Anzalone can stay on the field.
I think Saints war room feels great about it given their board.
Only time will tell if their board was good.

I think most think Brees has 3 or so really good years left.
And all the talk of CSP in win now mode. If that's the case, all ammo should have been on the table including next years #1. If not, then Kamara was definitely a luxury pick.

When the Saints went with Lattimore, I thought they were 100% going to double dip and trade the other 1st for Butler. That would have made for a good pairing IMO.

I'll give them a B+. We picked someone at every need area in the first 3 rounds. I feel pretty good about the picks, good value at every pick. I probably would have went with Beckwith instead of Anzalone, but hey they evidently had him rated higher.

I think all that talk is desperation by the fan base at the perceived exit of Brees at some point. I'm really glad they didn't go crazy and just start trading away future capital for guys they felt maybe marginal or not that much better than what's currently in roster.
As far as Kamara if he gives us anything close to what sproles did it's EASILY worth a future second. Having a true threat out of the backfield is what we've missed most on offense. Should sustain a few more drives as well. I remember in 11 we had an almost unprecedented 3rd down conversion rate. Our defense was pretty pathetic personnel wise then as well but when you're sustaining drives they're not left out there as much. That offense also put more pressure on the opposition to keep up than our current highly ranked offenses. I think outside of corner and edge a truly dynamic pass catcher out of the backfield was our biggest need and will probably help us win now. More than most other possible additions.

B- 4+2+4+3+1+4/6 = 3.0
11th Pick = A 4.0
Could not pass on that pick
32nd Pick = C 2.0
We should have moved up to 29th and grabbed elite defense player that fell. Will not start over Strief unless there is an injury. No impact for 2017 unless there is an injury. However, great pick for long term.
42nd Pick = A 4.0
67th Pick = B 3.0
Move up to grab a RB. When good pass rushers were still available. We already have a slew of RB's. Not that I don't like what Kamara brings to the table, but not exactly what was needed, but glad to have him.
76th Pick = D 1.0
Too many question marks on this guy. Could turn out great, but there were others there who would have been safer pics.
103rd Pick = A 4.0
A guy who plays hard. We were lucky he was still there.

Well I posted a thread where Loomis says if Lattimore doesn't fall and the Chiefs don't jump us, we very likely have Mahomes right now. He pretty much admitted he was the pick behind Lattimore.
That said I think you definitely see us grab one round one or two next year, when the class is supposedly better.
