I agree he should have made every attempt to get the first down, but he was hurt, so why Kamara did not get this call? Probably because Kamara is notorious for just running out of bounds

its funny cause there was a play earlier in the game (might have been the play dalton rolled out and was gonna take a shot but ended up lateraling it to ingram) where he could've picked up a few extra yards but opted to step out of bounds to avoid contact and i remember thinking damn he must have picked that up from kamara doing the same nonsense all the time

Kamara does this, sure, but i cannot recall off the top of my head a time where he's stepped out of bounds on 3rd down shy of the sticks when he clearly could have gotten the first down. No comparison
