yep doesn't change anything. We have plenty of things to blame for that Loss but a clear Defensive touchdown when it was a touchdown game is a big momentum shift. NFL really doesn't care. They may offer apologies the week after bad calls and then not change a damn thing. That crew will be on a game next week probably in Baltimore.

When I looked at the actual rule, it does appear that the call was right, maybe. I did not realize this part of the rule because I have never seen it applied before.

The question is what counts as throwing motion. Before this week, it has always seemed to be the arm going forward. That's the phrase said by broadcasts, booth officials and head officials announcing the call on the field: "The QBs arm was going forward". We've also seen many fumbles where the QB is hit when starting to raise his arm to throw and this has never been the ruling. Unless the rule changed this off season, then I have to believe it still requires an arm to be moving forward to make it an incomplete pass

It was a bullshite call. Not calling it a fumble because the QB had the "intention" of throwing it forward is the dumbest ruling ive ever heard of. At the end of the day though I love what I saw from this team. I think we can win this division.

Every strip sack prior to this one was always the same. The QBs are is moving backwards in a wind up and is hit knocking the ball loose. There was never any question about “intent” before. They pulled this loophole right out of their arse and decided this was the one time they would apply it.
