Yep. Pretty stupid.

When you finish 7-9 three yrs in a row, nobody is untouchable. Favre wasn't, Montana wasn't, Brees isn't. He's great, first-ballot HOFer, still has gas in the tank but it's pushing toward "E."
BTW, if you wouldn't trade Brees for Vonn Miller straight up you are letting a mancrush get in the way of good bidness.

If you think they would ever trade Miller for Brees straight up, you're a dumb fk. Not saying you are, but no one would ever make that deal. Lol. Brees and a 1st, possible.

You've been sufficiently destroyed in this thread but I'll entertain it anyway
Brees has a no trade clause, and Denver would NEVER do this. Ever.
Why would Jacksonville do this? They could stand pat and get a better RB themselves. Only way they'd do this is if they got additional capital as well. Future picks.
Why do this if we are trading Brees? Trading for Butler is a win-now move. We'd be better off standing pat and getting a young CB at that spot.
Where are you going to get the pick to take Pocic? You are already giving up 32 for Butler, our 2nd in the 'Brees trade', and likely both 3rds or more in the Fournette trade, as established. Even then, Pocic might not make it to the 3rd.
Also, the whole "retired player" to coach is stupid and almost never happens.
Glad we did all of this clever maneuvering to put a hell of a team around Chase Daniel.
Why?

And if you think Denver would even make that deal you are straight up delusional.
Green Bay had a guy to take over after Favre, San Fran had a guy to take over after Montana. If you think our Defense is good enough to carry this team with Daniel/Lynch even with Von Miller you are crazy

JAX gets a proven top 10 NFL RB and a pick only 7 spots lower?
at that highpoint of the draft "only seven spots" is worth a kings ransom

I agree 100%. Von is like a 99 OVR on madden and Drew is just a 92 OVR

will both of these franchises also have retarded GMs for a day? That's the only way either deal would ever get done.
Elway: ahh yes aging QB for the cornerstone of the defense our team is built around oh and the QB we drafted last year to groom? Well I'd say no but since you threw in that 2nd rounder, I'm in.
Jags: Ok so we take Ingram and his contract to move back in the draft and you draft the younger, cheaper, better RB? frick yes, we're in.
Jeff if you could sell those shittastic deals to two GMs, you'd be GM for life.

What other picks are you giving up? 2nd rounder and next year's first would be a minimum in addition, almost certainly more. You're giving up all that for a RB?

4. Draft Ethan Pocic; move Chopsley Strief to O-line coach
Is Strief a slave now that can't choose to work elsewhere?

Chase Daniel sucks, and Lynch does too.
In short, you're dumb.

You gotta understand you're going to get shite on by the homers here any time you mention the saints without Brees. Most of these boneheads have no foresight. Brees has this year, and maybe next. That's it, if the Saints are still playing with Brees after the 2018 season it will be a pathetic shite show. But I don't think your trace is logical from Denver's or Jaxville's stand point.

We can't all just make shite up and fail to back it up like you do.
That whole no trade clause thing too....

Typical garbage Saints Talk commentary. "Lynch sucks." He was drafted with a mid-first round pick last year, by John Elway, who knows a little something about QB play. So you've made the considered determination "he sucks" based on a few games he played his rookie year? Amazing insight you have. But of course, the QB that the Saints would take in the first round would automatically be amazing, right?
As I admitted, I thought it might be unlikely that Denver would part with Miller for anything. They might consider Brees and a 2 for Miller and Lynch. Doesn't hurt to ask. The fact that I am suggesting the Saints explore this indicates the value I place on Brees ... I wouldn't trade him for anything less than a Vonn Miller-type player. If that is not do-able, I'm perfectly happy with Brees finishing his Hall of Fame career with the Saints this year or next.

First, he was the 26th pick, not"mid-first round". Second, if he's going to be so good, why:
1) wouldn't be start here
2) be traded for a guy a guy with 1 year on his contract that can't really be tagged for a reasonable amount
