We play a safety at that spot on passing downs. We will be okay.

I like how LA is slowly blowing up what was a quality defense.

They better hope nothing happens to Donald.

Replacing Quinn and Ogletree are no small feats by any means.

Their run defense was awful because Quinn was playing OLB and Ogletree and Barron were playing ILB. These are the right moves for them to adjust personnel to the 3-4 scheme.

Don't they have 2 4-3 DT's though? Donald & Brockers.

I assume they would move Donald to DE in a 3-4 (I assume this will work considering how good he is), but I don't think Brockers has ever played DT in a 3-4.

He's getting paid over $10 million a year for the next 3-4 years.

Sometimes you need to make your system fit your personnel vs running out the personnel to fit your system. Rams had a very solid 4-3 That was close to being elite with 1-2 more adds. Now they have lots of holes on their D. Wade is great at what he does but this was a team that was close to being ready now and I see this as a step back.

The rams are going to be a .500 team at this pace.

He was already playing DE this past year (though basically the same role he played playing DT).

Ogletree makes splash plays but he’s not very good play by play

PFF has him rated as their 27th worst player in the NFL.

Ogletree was way overpaid .
Rams were happy to get out of that contract.
Ogletree should really be playing outside linebacker in a
4-3
Now if u want to bitch about not getting in on quinn I'm with you

You don't give up good players for peanuts to adjust the roster to your scheme, you leverage your talent by adjusting your scheme.
