Gayle is the perfect owner.

Football in New Orleans has been easy the last 15 years & it doesn’t really have anything to do with Gayle

The Pelicans, on the other hand, had to be built, & it’s been a complete, rudderless failure with her at the helm. Which really speaks to her acumen to run a sports franchise.

As far as I can tell, the pelicans have proper resources though, no? I know it was a shitshow early on, but she’s corrected that and hired respectable people.

She can’t make David Griffin make better trades or Zion lose 40 pounds

RG is just a front man. The owners run the league. Everything you think he has screwed over the Saints is probably at least 24 owners saying do it.

A good owner mostly hires good employees, tells the President or GM the budget they have to work with each season.

Fans wanting the owner to publicly stand up to a face to make them feel better , is only that, something to make the fans feel better….

If the Saints have something to say to the other owners, they have said it privately.

Loomis helped the Saints be 100M+ over the cap with no depth , not RG. RG has nothing to do with over 52M over the cap this upcoming offseason.

Gayle is probably as good of an owner in professional sports as you're going to get. She gives her teams the financial resources they need and lets the football and basketball people make decisions. That's generally how successful franchises are run.

Maybe it’s Sean Payton that needs to go to end this Goodell hate for the Saints.

Y’all refuse to acknowledge this simple fact.

But, but, but it’s everybody else’s fault.

Sources said former Broncos star quarterback Peyton Manning, who is very interested in a potential ownership piece in the franchise and a possible role in serving in a management position as well, has already had discussions with several of the groups expected to be favorites to land the team, and his strong ties to Denver, where his family has lived since his playing days, and universal respect throughout the football world, would be a boon to any potential ownership group aligned with him.

Peyton already spends almost zero time in NO... If he had a chance to either buy the Broncos or Saints, who you think he's taking?

Who picks the basketball people that have produced one of the most toxic environments in the nba the last 5 years?

Why would they be the logical choice? Because their daddy played for them? Both sons have avoided anything louisiana: lsu, saints. So why?
