Can’t help but think Jerry Jones was deep behind the scenes imposing his influence on why they don’t need another nfl team.

Tom owned the team. He had the last word on any move and I remember he was not averse to doing it. New Orleans was a ruined city at the time due to Katrina and you ain't gonna make any money in a ruined city. Plus Tom Benson had extensive business interests in San Antonio.

Well yeah definitely it was Tom’s call however my whole point is frick SA for making such an effort to persuade Tom. It was a low blow when the city was down bad.

Can't blame them for trying. A lot of other cities have done it and succeeded. Indianapolis, Nashville and Phoenix to name a few.

Ain’t no maybe about it. Tagliabue listened to Jones more than any other owner as well. People shite on Jerry for his football decisions but when it comes to business the dude is a galaxy class mind. No other owner has had more influence or made more money in the nfl than ol Jerrah
