Y'all need to temper your expectations. The Saints didn't beat a team with a pulse last year. We do have another easy schedule, but it's not like we are going to Detroit & Baltimore and kicking their teeth in to start the season.

I’m going into this season the same as last season. Be competitive, get better each week and win one or two that maybe we shouldn’t. If we make the playoffs because of the division, that’d be a huge success.
Next year my expectations will be much higher with the amount of money we will have available.

Bottom line win or lode we will be competitive every game and it will be fun to watch again. Offensively and it's so much more fun watching a winner being built

This will be interesting. We are about to see the a more complete install of the offense, and with some added firepower. If Shough continues his progression, this will tell us a lot.
The Saints were smart this offseason. They added some much needed pieces without doing dumb shite. The safer signings were structured well, and the sizzle signing has an out that will not haunt us.
As a sentimentalist and someone that thinks he has something left in the tank, I wish they would bring cam back on a 2yr deal that allows him to finish out his career here. If structured correctly, even if he falls off of a cliff, what he brings in the locker room and how he handles the media would be invaluable to this team.

The Saints have a offer to Cam. I don't know how they could be far apart but so it seems.
The Saints have AK under contract I don't know why the FO is saying what they are unless they are preparing fans for a cut if they don't think he has it anymore in camp.
