What CBs are on the market for us to bring in now that Jabari is likely out the rest of the year?

Winfield: best available, but strictly a slot guy. That could still be significant since we may play Harvin twice this year and he plays a lot in the slot, but Vaccaro and Jenkins will probably be fine as a nickel back

Ron Bartell: almost signed him over Greer years back.

Stanford Routt: had some good seasons in Oakland

thought Carr played alright.

that one play where SF converted a 3rd down was a natural pick play.

not much he could have done there.

White played pretty good but hard to read to much into it. Kaep is hardly an elite passer.

good news... is that all of the serious NFC contenders don't have an elite passer except for Aaron Rodgers but he's hurt right now.

the Packers may very well not make it in.

I actually like White a lot and think he will be a full time starter one day

Perrish Cox was also cut recently by the Niners. He is young and worth a look.

I like White a lot too. But I think he's more a very good nickel back and will just be a solid 2 guy who's gonna give up plays. I'm pretty concerned about it honestly. We're lucky we don't face any teams that scare you passing wise, but come playoff time, we could be facing Packers, Bears, Lions.

They'll just call up Sweeting from PS. I don't think there is a NEED to bring in a guy. Of course, I don't run a NFL team, so what do I know.

dunno if Sweeting was ever on the PS, he's been ST ballin

Owusu-Ansah and Jerico Nelson were the final DB cuts and both are on the couch

I think we probably bring back Rod Sweeting but I'd love to bring in Winfield. He's one of the best CB's against the run and a very smart defender.

Underrated attribute. This is what makes Chris Carr relevant still.

You are right, Blues. No PS. Don't have a CB on the PS so, they may, in fact, call someone.

We did workout Eric Frampton and Joe Lefeged on Nov 12th so they are on a short list for something.
