Won’t compromise but took a contract that is more money than we’ll ever see in our lives. These contracts are starting to get insulting. There was a time Brees was signing his mega contract for $25M a year and you’d think, “well he is one of the best QBs in the game.” Now 31 yo DEs make more than that.

$28 mil per is definitely not where I thought he'd end up, and this is a day after he said he wouldn't compromise. xD

Before fa, there was talk he’d get close to a contract approaching the 40s. After the first day, he saw it wasn’t there. Ravens got him on a cheaper deal than paying Max and get to keep two first rounders.

Smart move by them. But it was dirty business.

Colts----> Cam Jordan seems like a fit.

So the Ravens figured out they could get a similar player for much less capital, and "found" something wrong with Crosby? (Poisoning his value in the process)

Ravens will end up being penalized for this at some point…certainly the Saints would

They'll figure out a way to penalize the Raiders

Its good to be a QB in the NFL if you have a decent season in a contract year

a similar player
Hendrickson is the better player, albeit older. Crosby is really good, but definitely overrated. People act like he has all these insane numbers and is doing all this stuff, but he doesn't even sniff the top guys.

It was always stupid to give up 2 1sts for him, and even worse with the way his contract was you'd basically be stuck with him 2 years for $30 and $29 mil whether he worked out or not. And by the time you'd want to extend him he's already 30.

Also it was easy to fail him with his meniscus issue. They knew well ahead about it, but it was an easy out to claim.

I'm trying to extend Shough for 10 years at $50 mil per, because I don't even want to see what the contracts for a QB will be when he actually comes up for an extension. xD

That's what I'm thinking. We all gasped at how quickly the chiefs gave Pat that huge contract. Damn smart now.
Lol
Beat me to it
