Thing that doesn't add up here is ESPN and other media outlets that report on the league are usually on top of reporting any kind of locker room or front office drama. This is the first I've heard of Fournette being a problem since he's been in the NFL. There were no major concerns during the draft process of him having character issues.
Come on- on a random Tuesday mid season how many guys do you think show up to a meeting late, miss a rehab session, are practing super hung over, etc...? And how many reports of slacking do we really see in the moment? Until he’s getting disciplined it’s not a story but can be a character concern

I can see him wanting to come here.
Now whether or not the FO wants him here is another story. He’s a bruiser that would be valuable if healthy and not a locker room cancer.

True but I doubt ESPN has their eyes on Jax drama the same way they would for NY, NE, etc.

It’s like seeing the head cheerleader at the 20 year high school reunion. You remember her as she was back in the day but there’s a reason that she’s single. Not worth it.

Hell Yeah. He is in a dumpster fire over there. Ingram is a free agent. I am all in with Fournette. But first things first. Let's go win the Surer Bowl then we will worry about free agency.
Why?? Fournette is a cancer. You need to looks past being a FanBoi of LSU and see what he really is. He just isn't that good of a RB.

I'm an LSU fan. That said, as a Saints fan I would have to be crazy to want to sign Fournette at the expense of re-signing Ingram.
One is a proven Pro Bowl talent and solid leader, the other is an underperforming 240-pound hype train who has been suspect at best in terms of his behavior since his college days at least. He might not even be stable.
Take off the glasses and see it for what it is. I wish the best for Fournette. Hopefully he proves the problem was Jacksonville and not him, I just hope he does it somewhere else and not in New Orleans. If we can re-sign a proven stud and leader in Ingram we have to do it.
