Fournette obviously feels Tampa is closer to a SuperBowl than N.O.

Listening to various NFL players commentary before and after the 2020 College Football championship being played in the SuoerDome, there seems to be a huge majority that say, playing the Saints in the Dome is one of the most enjoyable games for NFL players because its the closest thing to matching the excitement of college games. Only reason to sign with Tampa so cheap has to be the belief they’re a near lock for the SuprrBowl.

Buga thinks Tampa will win it all? That guys a well-known genius! Saints may as well give up. Putting all my money on the Bucs!

Or maybe it’s some Saints’ fans who don’t see that high speed train coming from Tampa!

Or maybe

..he wanted to play with Tom Brady

....play somewhere close to his home in Jacksonville

...play in place with no state income tax

...or maybe play in sunny Tampa

Lots of reasons

As someone from Louisiana and a resident of the Nola area for the past 12 years, I don’t blame anyone for wanting to stay away from this state/city. That’s not a knock on the Saints organization, but there are other great places to live and work.

Most guys like Leonard and Mathieu grew up in the hood and have no desire to return. Doesn’t make them bad or stupid. I don’t see Trae Turner knocking down the door to return either.

Saints didn’t want him maybe had something to do with it.

Tampa won’t win the division. Won’t come close to winning the conference.

Best of luck to him... he’s going to be running into the teeth of one of the best run defenses in the league at least twice a year.
