My favorite pics, notes, n quotes from the game-

S Darren Sharper’s fourth-quarter interception was his eighth of the season. Sharper’s eight picks have accounted for 355 yards in returns, which ranks second on the NFL alltime single-season list behind the 358 yards in returns by the Ravens’ Ed Reed in 2004.
"At a certain point, we might have had 50 years of experience in the secondary," said 34-year-old free safety Darren Sharper. "We knew we could shut them down because our offense has problems with us during the summer and in training camp. We knew if we executed well with the new guys, we could have an outcome like we had tonight."

Last night, on just 44 plays, the Saints had eight plays of 20 or more yards, including three of their touchdowns. They lead the NFL with 59 plays of 20-plus yards. They continue to make a mockery of old NFL rules for success, like time of possession; they had the ball only 26 minutes yet gained 480 yards.

Bombs away! As accurate as I've ever seen Brees. Passes that are indefensible.

First play of the game- Can a throw possibly be any better?

Continued props to Devery. If you are just boarding the bandwagon you'll realize he has now been a reliable receiver since last year in addition to being a dangerous deep threat.

"Darnell Dinkins?" my wife said while laughing. "Is there anyone left who hasn't scored?"

The sellout crowd of 70,768 -- the second largest ever to see a Saints game in the Dome -- certainly loved every minute of it. I love the players sharing the experience with the fans... like potential Comeback Player of the Year Anthony Hargrove.

Predator returns with a vengeance! Really was a game changing play.

Q: In addition to them playing very well offensively was is just being able to get Tom Brady out of sync because he just seemed off?
Belichick: Well, they were better than us in every phase of the game. I don't know any other way to put it. They were better coached. They played better on offense, defense, in the kicking game they covered better than we did. They were better. They were obviously the better team. You guys had a seat, right? You were at the game? They were clearly the better team tonight.

Will Smith props- his 1.5 sacks gave him 7.5 for November most in the NFL. Maybe the doubters will understand that you did play through having the sports hernia last year.

Part the waters! It's time to enter the promised land

Very nice. That guy had Meachum's arm on that play and he still made the catch.

Oh, and Ellis... I love you big Sed, but, please, next time, just fall on the ball.

Hargrove's hit on Brady as he threw was awesome. Just bent him in half.
