For those who don't know JT Ibe hit him high across the shoulders/neck areas while he was going up for a reception. Keithwood then hit his head/neck areas on the ground. Looked bad the guy's knew what was up soon after it happened.

yikes... sounds scary

Damn they can’t even get his name right in the tweet. Although Keithwood is kind of catchy

What a piece of shite that player is to make a hit like that in practice

Looks like Ibe was already waived by the Panthers too

didn't look all that bad, from the video... granted, it is pretty far away and from a weird angle, but it just didn't really look like a vicious hit...

it looks like a young guy trying to make a play to make a team, to me

I'm not going to lie, i can't see the hit that well.

It's hard to see the hit with that pole.

I don't approve of a hard hit to your own team but can y'all really see the hit in that vid?

It's clear as day. The defender leaves his feet to attack a defenseless receiver above the shoulders.

Would have definitely been penalized and even ejected in a game.

when you dont have a good chance to make it past the cuts you do whatever it takes to get noticed and that means lighting guys up with ball separating hits to cause incompletions. unfortunately this time someone got hurt

i liked kirkwood, sad to see him get hurt that way and hope he recovers fully

I'm not saying he wouldn't.

I'm saying it's hard to see on the video.
