Please post any information you know about venues, events, parties, great bar rooms, etc. that would be helpful to the rest of us fans.

I have a trip scheduled, but don't have a clue on where the Saints fans will be hanging out (my best guess in South Beach). I always find tailgaiting/partying is better in bunches.

i heard on wwl that someone is trying to start a Facebook account so all Saints fans can get together and come up with a game plan...you cant even tail-gate at the Miami stadium so everyone is trying to find a place for the "Who-Dats" to congregate.....good luck. im sure pre-game/week festivities will show some bars that are designated for Saints..or Colts fans......

I've heard this from several Saints fans, but I went to the Saints game in Miami during this season and we tailgaited all day. I wonder if they are not allowing tailgaiting for the Super Bowl only?

I'm sure that it's a security issue for the Super Bowl. Remember the last Super Bowl in New Orleans was right after 9/11. The entire area around the Superdome was like an armed fortress.

There are not letting people tailgate next to the stadium. I m not sure why, but I had recieved an email saying that.

I actually heard that the NFL will let alcohol and food in the parking lot, but it can not block or impede traffic.

When I went to the Miami game this year, there was a very limited amount of parking around the stadium and then there was a ton of parking in which you had to walk about a mile from your car to the stadium. I sure hope they will allow tailgaiting at the outermost parking areas. If anyone knows more about this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Shuck N Dive also did all the cooking for the huge tailgate when the Saints were here in November playing the Dolphins.

Huge setup outside with large screen TV and crawfish boil for the game.

The Mai Kai Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale has the BEST happy hour drinks you'll ever have.

I love this place. Do NOT miss it. You'll thank me.

Los olas blvd. in fort lauderdale has a lot of great places to eat and drink. Big city tavern is great. Best in fort lauderdale for atmosphere, but nothing like south beach. If your staying in fort laud it is a good option other then driving into Miami.

While listening to WWL this morning, a reporter said that NO tailgating will be allowed anywhere near the stadium (not just at the parking lot that is directly connected to the stadium). They are not even allowing the lots that are a mile from the stadium to tailgate.

What kind of BS is this? It is a football game. How does Miami get to host two Super Bowls in four (or five?) years if the atmosphere around the stadium is going to suck.
