like others have said,,,,so damn relieved it was this rather than his knee.. that shot of the fat arse 49-er sprawled on top of him and his leg twisted was sickening to watch and then him being carried off the field was a downer--i was prepared for far worse...he'll be back fot the playoffs..... :nana: :cheers:

everybodys emotions are different...most men dont cry much or want to admit it i guess......the Atlanta game season opener/Dome opener i sat in the nose-bleed and looked over at a guy after the game who like me-- was teared up-it was if the weight of the world had been lifted off our shoulders..but funny i didnt cry when we won the Super Bowl....thought for sure i would.....i was so spent and tired and exhausted after willing the Saints to win....guess i was spent....but everytime i hear Jay Vices "Rocky" themed highlights of the season/Jim Henderson calls?.....im toast....lose it ever time. :wah: :nana:

Fewer....i agree with your post but i think what Favre is really hoping for is a high ankle sprain injury or a season ender.....an easy out. his heart didn't seem to be in it...that "devil on his shoulder" saying "you can do it" when he had the "intervention" from teammates that flew in?.....too much for his ego to resist. :dude:
