Why in the frick does it matter if the best coach in the league gives advice to his colleagues about a coach to hire?

What a disaster this guy is. Any credibility he may have had is now gone. Who the hell is advising this idiot?

That plus claiming he told the Saints about his lawsuit prior to filing and Mickey denying that assertion

Flores deserved to be fired in Miami.

He’s a below average HC, has poor character, and is now a pathetic liar.

His career is over.

So what. Giants may have asked for his opinion or recommendations. Looks like it worked out for them.

It is common in every single industry for those doing the hiring to seek the advice of former mentors or leaders in the field before making what amounts to an executive level hire that will impact your entire business from day one.

The NFL is no different. Flores is just lashing out and slowly coming to the realization that he’s not who he thought he was.

Why would the Giants listen to BB?

Flores is losing it. BB has clearly got some insiders in the Giants FO but there’s no reason they would listen to him or for him to influence their hire. What does he gain from it, especially since it’s actually a good hire?

No. He was being told to tank for draft position and was smart enough to realize what that meant: getting fired for another coach to get a great draft pick. He stood his ground and now the Dolphins look like asshats.

Half right. Flores has proven himself to be a quality coach given his stint with a very bad Dolphins roster. Given a chance to build a quality roster, he might have done much better in the future. But, I will agree that his going after CBB's character, and suing the Broncos and Giants over racism claims after getting passed over is a bit of a stretch. It looks more like he was mad and wants to lash out.

Possibly. He is still a quality coach. I think someone will eventually hire him to be on their staff, but it will be a long time before someone is legitimately interested in him as a HC again.

He’d probably still be the coach if he had Burrow and was in the Super Bowl

Disagree with this part. He was doing good things in Miami.

This part seems to be totally true. Filling in the blanks of Belichick's involvement and claiming it as if it "was clear to [Flores] that decision was made with [Belichick's] influence" is wrong and dangerous. I was confused why Miami fired him, but now it is becoming clear they were justified.
