We're gonna have to watch for Green Bay this season. Beneficiary of two horrible calls on Trey Flowers to help them win the game.

Unbelievable. I would be furious right now if I were a lions' fan. That ref should be fired

A ref blows calls that determine the outcome of a game, nothing happens. Someone wears an unauthorized headband or cleats, and Godell loses his mind. Something seriously wrong with that. I love the NFL, and of course I’ll keep watching, but it’s getting unbearable to watch at times.

Clete Blakeman is notorious for this type of shite. Up there with Walt Anderson as the worst officials and crews in pro sports.

What are y'all complaining about? You all know it's the NFL and officiating is third world corruption.

How many times have we seen this crap; over and over and over.

Lions didn’t score the TD in the 1st quarter. Should have been a turnover on downs.

The packers also recovered the muffed punt that was given to the lions and directly led to 3 points for detroit.

But the calls in favor of the packers came late so they are all that matters apparently

@DesmondHoward
The refs need to be investigated. This is horrendous. Check bank accounts. #NoExcuses

F this. All I heard and read after the champ game was saints fans are cry babies and should did more in the game so it didnt come down to that call and blah blah blah. Lions should have scored more TDs instead of fgs then it doesnt come down to those calls.

But yes the refs are garbage

The Lions were screwed repeatedly in the second half. It was amazing.

Green Bay definitely had the refs in their back pocket

It was probably Aaron Rodgers state farm agent.

The list is getting long.

The NFL needs more and full-time refs. There shouldn't be a long leash on the refs either. If they are incapable of making the right call in live game situations, then sorry this isn't the job for them. Stop fricking over your customers because you can't hire the right people.

Wow, y’all must really not like logic on these matters.

Let’s see if I can convince you. I doubt it but I’ll try.

In the 1Q, the Lions got a touchdown on 4th down that from the side angle down the line, was clearly not a touchdown. We can act like it was close now if you want, but in the live thread literally everyone except one lions fan agreed it wasn’t a TD. Should have been packers ball and 3-0 Lions.

That TD that they didn’t actually get gave them a 13-10 lead going into half, which should have been a 6-10 deficit.

Then, in the second half the score was 13-13 (should have been 6-13) when the Packers stopped the lions and forced them to punt. The packers player muffed the punt, but the camera angle they showed clearly showed 2 lions players dive and muss the ball and a packers player dive on the ball and cover it, down by contact. The refs gave the ball to the lions. The lions didn’t advance the ball at all off of that muff, but they were already in field goal range, so it was a free 3 points.

The score is now 16-13 Lions when it should have been 6-13 Packers.

That’s ten points literally given to the lions.

So from the bogus 16-13 score the Lion’s get 2 field goals to make it 22-13 Lions. (Actually should be 12-13 Packers) and now all of a sudden the packers are down 2 scores when they should be winning.

Y’all know what happened from there, and I’m not denying they were bad calls, but the packers got screwed over pretty hard as well.

Funny thing is to me the entire night people were talking about how unlucky the packers kept getting on calls among other things, but the second that hands to the face happened 50 people came in the MSB thread saying the Lions had been screwed all night.
