I never questioned Thomas's ability but after the last two years and possibility that he may have missed yesterday's game, I didn't have faith in him until he actually played.

I mean all people had to do was do a little research on the situation. Thomas made some mistakes during it but it was far from a lot of our fanbase made it out to be. He was really injured. He got bad advice from a different doctor and the team allowed him to follow that advice to rehab instead of surgery. It didn’t work out. I’m guessing Thomas was embarrassed so didn’t inform the team. But people ignore that he came back and tried to play through the injury because it was Brees last season. Idk how our fans didn’t gain respect for him for doing that.

BTW I never said anything about Taysoms ability either. His runs really helped us yesterday, but Refresh my memory, how man completions or pass attempts did he have yesterday?

Any and ALL of that was offset by Thomas's LOUD and WOKE mouth/attitude !! It seems he may have 'learned' from his own dumb-arse behavior and is once again concentrating on what he should...i.e. football ! Good for him....FINALLY !

Forgot option 3- do nothing, collect your money while watching taysom run for 2 yards and fumble

Hell just put Kamara back there, he can run better and the drop off in passing wouldn't be that noticeable

You must really have no life man, to search my post history to find three post.

Now, where did I say anything in the post you just quoted about his running ability or the 2 yards and dust when PAYTON WAS COACH? Dennis Allen is coach now, he may or may not be used differently.

But again in what you quoted where did I specifically doubt his running ability

And this is where certain parts of the fanbase always lose me and taking their opinions of players seriously.

Lets hate/pile on a guy because he has a different opinion that I do on a variety of subjects. I don't agree with MT on a lot of things, including his politics, but he has a right to have those opinions and he has a right to express those opinions.

I don’t disrespect Brees for having an opinion. I disrespect Brees for CHANGING his opinion due to public pressure. Him disagreeing with me was largely irrelevant. Him revealing himself as lacking any sense of conviction made me lose respect for him as a leader.

I understood him apologizing to his teammates, but after 2-3 public apologies it just became cringe. Honestly I don’t even truly believe he needed to apologize to anyone, but at most just his teammates. The only person that handled that entire ordeal correctly was Demario Davis

Saying all that I don’t have hate towards any of them. I’m conservative and recognize most nfl players don’t agree with my views and their political views are irrelevant to me as mine are to them. It was childish putting all that on public display towards Brees but people are emotional and that’s the state of our society with social media now. They cleared it all up and that’s good enough imo

How many 50 yard runs, touchdowns and forced holding calls on special teams did he have?
