No Trade
Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 27: C.J. Mosley, OLB, Alabama (A)
Round 2 Pick 26: Jarvis Landry, WR, LSU (A-)
Round 3 Pick 27: Bryan Stork, C, Florida State (A)
Round 4 Pick 26: Jeremy Hill, RB, LSU (A)
Round 5 Pick 27: Stanley Jean-Baptiste, CB, Nebraska (A)
Round 6 Pick 26: Jordan Tripp, OLB, Montana (B)

Didn't think twice about Mosley. Fills a need and great value.

I know we have crowded backfield, but I think a spot can be found for Hill. PT and Sproles won't be around forever and a good young back to push Robinson and Ingram would probably benefit both.

Two Trade
Round 1 Pick 32 (SEA): Antonio Richardson, OT, Tennessee (A-)
Round 2 Pick 26: Jarvis Landry, WR, LSU (A-)
Round 2 Pick 32 (SEA): Kyle Van Noy, OLB, Brigham Young (A)
Round 4 Pick 2 (WASH): A.J. Johnson, ILB, Tennessee (A-)
Round 4 Pick 26: Jeremy Hill, RB, LSU (A)
Round 5 Pick 2 (WASH): Jimmie Ward, SS, Northern Illinois (A)
Round 5 Pick 27: Stanley Jean-Baptiste, CB, Nebraska (A)
Round 6 Pick 26: Tyler Larsen, C, Utah State (A)
Round 7 Pick 2 (WASH): De'Anthony Thomas, RB, Oregon (D+)

This draft would be amazing.

I really like what I have read about Van Noy.

Ward has opened some eyes at the Senior Bowl with his coverage ability.

For whatever reason this site thinks Thomas in 7th is a bad pick but I don't see it. I think he would be a good all-purpose guy like Bush and Sproles. Even if he just excels as a PR/KR, he would still be worth drafting.

Funny how people usually scoff at bringing in LSU players, but when given the chance to "draft" them these mocks are loaded. Can't see Mosely there at 27, and don't like Hubbard in the 1st. Site is awesome, quite addictive. First score was 25th, then 19, 16, and 10. Wanna crack top 5.

edit: Not my best score but man would Ryan be happy with this!

Your score is: 3793 (Drafting Ability: B+, Player Quality B+, Future Draft Picks: N/A)

Round 3 Pick 28 (CAR): Jackson Jeffcoat, DE, Texas (A)

the need to update and revise their rankings is all the more clearer after the Sr Bowl

looking at some of the last "no-trade' simulations for #27...

Mosley- A+ but extremely low possibility for #27
Mack- right about the same as Mosley
Mosley
Gilbert- A++ might be the #1 CB taken, one of my favorites to hope for but odds look diminishing
Barr- even less likely than Mack or Mosley
Verrett- one of the most very real chances from this early
Nix- doubtful to #27, young Saints strength there makes this pretty low on need IMO
Van Noy- could be a real possibility for a value fit
Murphy- stock prolly out of the 1st Rd after Sr Bow;
Mosley
Shazier- don't see him as a 3-4 fit possibility at all
Mosley
Mosley

He's a FA, so there's a chance he won't be back.

traded my first and second rd pick for 3 second rd picks and traded back in 3rd. I'd be pretty happy with this draft

Round 2 Pick 5 (ATL): Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Florida State (B+)
- Big athletic receiver that we have really been lacking. Has #1 receiver potential
Round 2 Pick 21 (G.B.): Kyle Van Noy, OLB, Brigham Young (A)
- Was a playmaker at BYU and would be a good rush OLB
Round 2 Pick 25 (S.D.): Louchiez Purifoy, CB, Florida (B+)
- Solid college player and would add some much needed depth to the secondary
Round 3 Pick 31 (DEN): Michael Sam, DE, Missouri (A)
- Similar build and playing-style as Galette and adds another defensive playmaker
Round 4 Pick 26: Calvin Barnett, DT, Oklahoma State (A)
- Can't have too many big bodies on the d-line.
Round 4 Pick 31 (DEN): Jeremy Hill, RB, LSU (A)
- Kind of a homer pick but I feel like Hill will be solid and make Ingram expendable which I'm sure most wouldn't mind
Round 5 Pick 27: Tyler Larsen, C, Utah State (A)
- Value at a position of need
Round 6 Pick 26: Keith Price, QB, Washington (A-)
- The talk going into the year was that Price would be one of the better Qb's in college football. He has the talent and athleticism to be great. I think studying under Brees for a few years will help him develop into an NFL caliber Qb

eta: Did one without trading. Don't know which I like better

Round 1 Pick 27: C.J. Mosley, OLB, Alabama (A)
Round 2 Pick 26: Stephon Tuitt, DE, Notre Dame (A)
Round 3 Pick 27: Kyle Van Noy, OLB, Brigham Young (A)
Round 4 Pick 26: Brandon Coleman, WR, Rutgers (A)
Round 5 Pick 27: Antone Exum, CB, Virginia Tech (A-)
Round 6 Pick 26: Austin Wentworth, OT, Fresno State (A)

A couple of trades

Your score is: 4177 (Drafting Ability: A-, Player Quality A, Future Draft Picks: N/A)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 32 (SEA): Kyle Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech (B-)
We need another CB bad...was the best available at that time and would likely be an immediate starter
Round 2 Pick 29 (S.F.): Will Sutton, DT, Arizona State (A)
He would start for us and help solidify the middle - immediate starter
Round 2 Pick 32 (SEA): Morgan Breslin, OLB, Southern California (A)
Will help upgrade the LB position, immediate starter
Round 3 Pick 25 (S.D.): JaWuan James, OT, Tennessee (A-)
Could develop into a RT....give time
Round 3 Pick 27: Jared Abbrederis, WR, Wisconsin (A)
Great player and would fit in nicely with our current WR corps...big body, like a Colston....would see PT in year 1
Round 4 Pick 25 (S.D.): Bryan Stork, C, Florida State (A)
Would likely start at C...at least add some competition
Round 4 Pick 26: Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, Eastern Illinois (A)
Back up and potential starter in a few years....a lot like Drew
Round 5 Pick 27: Ed Stinson, DE, Alabama (A)
Would add some needed depth to the DE position, not a starter but would likely play in the rotation
Round 6 Pick 26: L'Damian Washington, WR, Missouri (A)
Maybe a chance to make team, could add depth to the WR position

W/No Trades

Your score is: 4232 (Drafting Ability: A, Player Quality B, Future Draft Picks: N/A)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 27: Justin Gilbert, CB, Oklahoma State (A-)
Arguably the best CB in the draft....see above about my thoughts on the CB position
Round 2 Pick 26: Will Sutton, DT, Arizona State (A)
see above
Round 3 Pick 27: Bruce Ellington, WR, South Carolina (A)
would add some depth to the WR corps, would make team and see some PT as a 3 or 4 WR
Round 4 Pick 26: Bryan Stork, C, Florida State (A)
See above
Round 5 Pick 27: Justin Britt, OT, Missouri (A)
Solid technique guy, not an amazing athlete but would certainly add depth and possibly push for a starting spot
Round 6 Pick 26: David Fales, QB, San Jose State (A)
Back up QB with potential to develop in a few years

FTR site is updated and they fixed some bugs. Looking at peoples scores, looks like drafting a K and P, ie filling all needs really ups your score.

Here is one that I would fap to...

Your score is: 4453 (Drafting Ability: A, Player Quality A, Future Draft Picks: N/A)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 29 (N.E.): Jason Verrett, CB, TCU (B+)
Would help solidify the #2 CB
Round 2 Pick 29 (S.F.): Morgan Breslin, OLB, Southern California (A)
Would start from day 1 and be a big playmaker
Round 2 Pick 30 (N.E.): Jack Mewhort, OT, Ohio State (A)
Would likely start at the RT position from day 1
Round 3 Pick 29 (N.E.): Jared Abbrederis, WR, Wisconsin (A)
As stated before, would excel in our system
Round 3 Pick 30 (S.F.): Bryan Stork, C, Florida State (A)
A likely starter from Day 1
Round 4 Pick 29 (S.F.): Mike Davis, WR, Texas (A)
He would be our speed guy up the side of the field, we tried Stills there last year but we need someone like Devery to fill this role
Round 4 Pick 30 (N.E.): Calvin Barnett, DT, Oklahoma State (A)
Adds depth to our young and talented DT rotation
Round 5 Pick 27: Isaiah Lewis, SS, Michigan State (A)
Would likely get a lot of PT and take Harper's spot
Round 6 Pick 26: Aaron Murray, QB, Georgia (A)
Practice squad guy that could possibly develop
Round 6 Pick 29 (S.F.): George Uko, DE, Southern California (A)
Adds depth to the DE position...would likely make the team

Your score is: 4394 (Drafting Ability: A, Player Quality A, Future Draft Picks: N/A)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 27: Antonio Richardson, OT, Tennessee (B+)
Round 3 Pick 6 (JAX): Christian Jones, ILB, Florida State (A-)
Round 3 Pick 27: Bruce Ellington, WR, South Carolina (A)
Round 4 Pick 5 (JAX): Ka'Deem Carey, RB, Arizona (A)
Round 4 Pick 14 (JAX): Weston Richburg, C, Colorado State (A)
Round 4 Pick 26: Daniel McCullers, DT, Tennessee (A)
Round 5 Pick 27: Stanley Jean-Baptiste, CB, Nebraska (A)
Round 6 Pick 26: Jalen Saunders, WR, Oklahoma (A)

made a trade with the Jags to acquire more mid round picks.

took Richardson in the 1st round at the possibility of Strief not coming back. I think he probably will but you never know. Richardson is a mauler who could help out more in the run game I think. Plus, Strief has missed a handful of games over the last 3 seasons b/c of injury. It forced Charles Brown into action which pissed off a lot of us. So I say add a tackle here who has a mean streak to him.

took Christian Jones in the 3rd. I've said over and over that I'd like to see the Saints add depth at ILB.

Bruce Ellington may not be all that big but I like his play making ability.

Ka'Deem Carey is good value here. Took him at the possibility of a shake up at RB. I like Khiry Robinson but even though Ingram looked better as the season went along... I'm still not sold on him being in the right situation in this offense.

Got the center from Colorado State. Fills a need and had a good week at the Senior Bowl...

McCullers would add some sick depth inside on the D-line. Mammoth sized player who would command double teams and help with the run defense. Brings little or nothing to the table rushing the passer or pushing the pocket though.

Stanley Jean-Baptiste at corner in the 5th round? You bet your arse.

Jalen Saunders in the 6th round was good value I thought. Again, not the big WR most want on here but I think pound-for-pound this kid is underrated.
