The 31 pick is so hard to predict. We have a lot of needs and all of the guys that have been mocked to us are needs. Funny how the draft is becoming less transparent

IF the trend continues as it has, yes we would take Ray and either Agholor/Dorsett/Perriman. But the draft is too unpredictable and this is just research.

2015 Most Mocked Players

I've done this the past two years, so here it is again. Looked through A LOT of mock drafts, and here are the most mocked players at 13 and 31:

13:

31:

Notes:
• In both 2013 and 2014, Vaccaro and Cooks were the third most mocked to us.
• At 31, as you can see, theres a lot of variety. However by position the results break down as:
– 26% WR, 22% OL, 21% ILB, 15% CB, 10% TE, 6% OLB
• Used mocks from NFL, ESPN, CBS, WalterFootball (I know), WalterFootball database, and Saints writers.
• All of the names at 31 didn't come up so the top 5 most mocked are:
1. Byron Jones (10%)
2. Maxx Williams (9%)
T-3. Nelson Agholor, Phillip Dorsett, and Breshad Perriman (7% each)

Jordan Tripp, OLB

Keith McGill

Brandin Cooks 200m: 21.59
Usain Bolt 200m: 19.32

Only 2 seconds slower than the fastest man on the planet.
So for the 2nd year in a row the 3rd most mocked guy gets picked
If Bridgewater is there at 27, I look to trade with a team like the Jags who have a lot of picks this draft and really need a QB
My final Saints mock;

(2) 7 (Trade with Jags) Jordan Matthews WR, Vanderbilt
(2) 26 Marcus Martin C, USC
(3) 27 Keith McGill CB, Utah
(4) 5 (Jags) James Hurst OT, UNC
(4) 26 Jordan Tripp OLB, Montana
(5) 4 (Jags) Lamin Barrow ILB, LSU
(5) 27 Ryan Grant WR, Tulane
(5) 29 Louchiez Purifoy CB, Florida
(6) 26 Jeoffrey Pagan DE, Alabama
No trades
Round 1 Pick 27: Marqise Lee, WR, Southern California
Round 2 Pick 26: Marcus Martin, C, Southern California
Round 3 Pick 27: Keith McGill, CB, Utah
Round 4 Pick 26: Zach Mettenberger, QB, LSU
Round 5 Pick 27: Preston Brown, ILB, Louisville
Round 5 Pick 29: Kevin Pierre-Louis, OLB, Boston College
Round 6 Pick 26: Dri Archer, WR, Kent State

One trade
Round 2 Pick 21 (G.B.): Marcus Martin, C, Southern California
Round 2 Pick 26: Jordan Matthews, WR, Vanderbilt
Round 3 Pick 21 (G.B.): Keith McGill, CB, Utah
Round 3 Pick 27: Martavis Bryant, WR, Clemson
Round 4 Pick 21 (G.B.): Jordan Tripp, OLB, Montana
Round 4 Pick 26: Shayne Skov, ILB, Stanford
Round 5 Pick 21 (G.B.): Justin Ellis, DT, Louisiana Tech
Round 5 Pick 27: Charles Leno, OT, Boise State
Round 5 Pick 29: A.J. McCarron, QB, Alabama
Round 6 Pick 26: Walt Aikens, CB, Liberty
If last year's trend continues Ford will be a bust (Jones), Verrett will go way early (Mingo), and Cooks will be ours and pretty dang good (Vaccaro)
